"George has provided handyman services at my home in the past. Early 2021, I hired Ocean State Property Services to do a kitchen renovation. It did not go as planned due to supply chain disruption and freight carrier delays that resulted in my cabinets arriving damaged from the manufacturer, this did not sit well with OSPS and they quit the job early. George and his team did a great job with the demolition, plumbing and industry connections (i.e. flooring, countertops, plastering). The downside was inefficient communication and negative attitude stemming from the contractor's frustration. In the end, George did not complete the job but left on amicable terms. I would hire George again for another job that had "less moving parts" to it. PS His helpers are fantastic!"

Noah suggested replacing the entire bottom, railings & stairs with cedar as to its beauty & durability. The finished deck is absolutely beautiful. Noah hand picked each plank he used. They completed the entire job in one day and my roof is 2,000 square feet, so it's a sizable roof. The team was very careful to protect my gardens, they moved plants, lawn furniture and put everything back they in place before they left. The clean up was impeccable! "i have been acting as an agent/advocate for my mom who is 87. she had a roof installed which has had numerous leaks. 2 in garage (now taken care of) where solar lines go through to roof panels.; 1 from improperly sealed window (also ok now) leaking into 3 season porch, causing water damage; 1 around improperly flashed chimney (paid another company $1800 to repair), and now, another one where roof meets vertical end wall of house (leaking into 2nd floor ceiling and down wall into kitchen). Have been calling company for OVER A MONTH and still have not gotten any help from them. They DO NOT RETURN PHONE CALLS!!! Customer service (Ashley and Ryan) have both "left messages for Jesse" as well as "reaching out to him personally". I now have left messages on his cell, and WILL BE FILING COMPLAINT WITH BBB, Office of Elderly Affairs, AG, and State Board of Licensing!! ****STAY AWAY*** ***READ REVIEWS*** (here AND on other sites!!)"

Ductwork should be wrapped in insulation in certain locations. This includes unconditioned interior parts of the home, such as attics, crawl spaces, basement ceilings, and between floors. You don’t need to staple insulation, as your drywall and studs will hold it into place. But if you already have a staple gun and staples lying around, it can help keep the product in place and avoid any shifting. But, most experts agree it’s an unnecessary step.

If you’re adding a vapor barrier, you will need to staple that in place.

A plastic vapor barrier should completely cover your basement to prevent water from penetrating through the walls. This typically goes before installing insulation to prevent moisture from building up and becoming trapped on the inside of your insulation, where it can collect and lead to mold damage. Installing insulation after the vapor barrier allows for any moisture to exit the walls for better ventilation.
