I was told they would be here at 7.00am and they arrived earlier. Roof, garage and 2 skylights replaced. The roof was finished in 1 day. They did a excellent job. The clean up crew did a great job. everything was picked up in our yard. Dennis was great he checked the work before starting the roof, and also at the end of the day checked again to make sure everything was right.

I chose Midland roofing based on referrals from other customers who had nothing but great things to say. Well, I wasn’t disappointed. Dennis was a true professional who took the time to explain our options and guide us through the process. Apparently we have a very large roof and his crew knocked it out of the park in one day. We could not be happier with the outcome and I have absolutely no reservations in recommending them to anyone looking for a fantastic roof at a fair price.

The main house roof replacement went very well. However, our porch was a major problem. When we sat down to discuss the job, the manager was informed about porch roof pitch, and if we'd need special considerations of possibly using membrane roofing vs shingles, etc. We were told the pitch was sufficient for traditional shingles. The day of the job, when workers had the entire roof removed, the foreman called the manager and said we'd need a membrane roof. The membrane roof was installed, and the porch ceiling leaked worse than it did with the old roof. I was upset because the problem areas were clearly pointed out to the manager during walk through before work began. After 2 rainstorms and many new leaks, the manager visited the worksite and tried to convince us it was faulty siding, and the wind was blowing rain threw a vent at a 90 degree angle, creating water pooling four feet in from the exterior wall. After repeated phone calls to the company, a carpenter who worked for the roofer was dispatched, and he preformed leak tests by using a garden hose to soak the roof area. After no leaking was found, I showed him exactly where I thought the problem was coming from-guess what? He removed the roof shingles beneath the area I had pointed out to the manager before re-roofing work began. The problem was behind a soffit that met at a corner of our roof valley. The carpenter found that the actual wall that met the roof deck was further in than the flashing/shingles were laid. He corrected the wall problem, replaced the fascia board, re-layed the shingle and so far, the leaking has stopped. We were finally able to have the porch ceiling and walls redone. Thankfully, this contractor stood by his work, and eventually solved the problem. I wouldn't hire again mainly because the initial explanation didn't make sense to me. He insisted we had a siding problem, not a roofing problem. As far as I'm concerned, someone who's specialty is roofing, should spot potential problem areas and make a homeowner aware of it, especially when the home owner points it out to you before beginning work. How can you guarantee the new roof if it fails to prevent weather from entering the home because it doesn't correctly work in tandem with the house walls, corners, roof deck or siding?

Midland Roofing did a great job on the re-roof of the back of our house. Dennis did a great job in the quoting process. He arrived on time, measured my roof via satellite and got me the quote right then and there. His crew arrived on time and did a great job. I had to move some stack vents and they were happy to work with me on that. They were careful when stripping the shingles not to get any in the pool, or hit any of the glass pool fence panels. From my first call to them, until I paid them was only about 10 days. I'm happy to recommend them to others. Keep up the great work Dennis!

We had roof damage from the three storms in March. Our roof suppossedly was shingled four years before we bought our house. I think the previous owner did the job himself, and it was done all wrong-no flashing, no ice and water barrier. The new roof job was completed in one day, and the Midland crew did an excellent job. Originally, Dennis suggested a shingle roof on our 3-season porch. The porch had a low slope roof, and when the foreman on the job noticed that the old roof porch had two layers of rubber roofing with shingle nailed over them, Dennis called me, and explained he thought it would be better to go with rubber membrane roofing. I appreciate it when I hire someone to do a job for me, that they are honest about finishing the job the best way they know how, regardless of what they initially planned. Excellent crew, they cleaned up the mess, and got all the old nails out of the yard and driveway.

Dennis and his team were neat, professional and efficient. Dennis walked me through every step of the process. I was surprised by how quickly and efficiently the crew worked. They cleaned up everything and protected my landscaping. The job was done in one day. I would definitely recommend them!

We were very pleased with the work and the professionalism of Dennis Wyatt, our rep for the project, and his roofing crew. We were especially pleased with the clean up after the roof installation. The workers were very friendly and accommodating and worked diligently to finish the project in 1 day on a 2-story colonial with a 2-car garage.

On a scale of 1-5, I give Dennis and his crew a huge 10!!! I contacted 4 companies for a quote, Midland was the only company I felt was professional in his response, quote and explanation of the work to be performed. I had a few questions regarding the quote and work to be performed, if I called or sent an email, the answer came back almost immediately, even on a Sunday when I didn't expect to hear anything until the Monday. We RECIEVED EXACTLY what was quoted and promised for the exact dollars, with no surprises. They showed up when they said they would, on time. When the job was finished you didn't even know they were here (other than seeing a beautiful new roof on the house) The grounds were well protected during the roofing job, clean-up was incredible, They even put a tarp under the truck in the driveway to prevent anything leaking onto the asphalt. The main one was that the North side was never properly installed, with no underlayment (!!!) and too much space between the shingles, letting the water seep around the shingles into the attic. Also the chimney flashing was cracked and the attic was poorly insulated. He also expressed concern for not damaging my new sunroom and while he said that the project should not be delayed, he did not ry to "sow panic". He also said that the south side of the roof was fine for probably another 10-15 years and it was not necessary to replace that now. I had complete confidence in Dennis's competence and integrity and his team also deserve credit for an excellent job.

Thejob went well and they kept my property clean

Great. Dennis (the owner) was extremely responsive and a person who really aims to do a good job for his customers. He didn't try to up-sell me on anything and I thought his price was reasonable. He gave me advanced notice of his schedule and kept his word on all transactions. His crew did a good job cleaning up my yard and didn't damage anything. I could not ask for anything more. I would do business him again in a heartbeat.

Dennis came here at my house for The second time 3 days ago. He wrote up a new proposal and he said that he dont want to streeed me out, no stress in signing and no money down, which sound too good to be true, It was a reasonable price. It seems affordable for a new roof,. He said he wanted to start the project this coming monday as long that it wasnt raining . When he left I called him back, asking if I could sign something on monday, He said that you dont have to sign, ..He said thet he's been doing this for years and no complaints. I told him that i will be calling the RI contractor's board if that is okay. and then he told "I dont want to do your roof now", and he hanged up.

They left the area very clean. The work took one day! They had a crew of about 20 guys. They were honest, fast, reliable and great.

They did a quality job and we were quite pleased with the work done. They removed two layers of shingles, added a ridge vent, added soffit vents, installed roof vents for the bathrooms, replaced sagging gutters and reconfigured gutter downspouts so we could have just one downspout where two had previously been. They also discovered rotten sheathing where there was a roof leak and replaced the sheathing. Lastly, they installed wood trim to replace trim damaged by the roof leak. Dennis Wyatt (owner) even came out after the job was done to fix one minor problem we wanted addressed. We felt we received good value for what we paid for and would highly recommend Dennis and Midland Roofing to anyone.

Roof was replaced in mid December in 3 days; a crew of 8-10 people was used. The installation was of highest quality. There was some minor damage to landscape lighting fixtures which was quickly resolved. Dennis Wyatt, owner of Midland Roofing, was very professional during the whole process and quickly addressed any concerns/questions regarding the project. We would not hesitate in recommending Midland Roof.

After we called to inquire about a new roof, Dennis (the owner) came and assessed the condition of the roof and provided details and samples of the materials to be used. He was very thorough and answered all of the questions had. We were able to schedule the work to be performed in February, despite the cold weather. Our lender had a last minute issue with paperwork that Dennis was able to help us with less than an hour after it was brought to his attention (truly above and beyond). He and his team did a professional job and I will recommend Midland to anyone I know in need of a roofing company.
