"Rick was very responsive at first and eager to get started on my bathroom remodel job for one of my apartments. He is commended for having to respond to quote request fast. I decided to give him a chance to do a good job before handing a bigger jobs for my other properties. Before the work started, I emphasized that the dust control and cleanup was very, very important to me. The job involved lots of demolition work inside the apartment - naturally, there will be lots of dust. The apartment is currently occupied and has lots of furniture, computers and audio equipment that I wanted to protect. I thought he and his workers were communicated this request. I even offered the use of dust control fan and Zip Wall to isolate the work area but he said he will be fine without them. Once the job started, I was away for one week to take care of my family. When I returned, I discovered that the door to the adjacent room was left open. That is my office with all the equipment and important papers. They left their construction material and equipment in this room. I was horrified that there are fine dust everywhere - on my printer, computer peripherals, furniture. I brought this issue up with Rick. Nothing happened. The worst part was that the job was declared done and I paid the service in full - They never returned to clean up and pickup the equipment. After almost a whole month, the supply and equipment is still there. I had to spend extra time cleaning up after their mess. Very unprofessional. Lessons learned. Do not pay the balance until all the cleaning is done and all the equipment removed. I expect the clean up and dust control to be a part of the job. I also repeatedly asked or professionally prepared invoices with vendor name and address, job details and the most important of all, the invoice number - all of these essential information is important to keep track of expenses for my projects. The SMS texts message and e-mail messages were not appropriate for this purpose. I explained to Rick that my CPA requires them many times. I even sent him a sample invoice and quote in Microsoft Word template - he never understood what I was asking. He is a nice guy, but not a good project manager or competent business person. The work was done, however, the work quality is fair to good - I had to go back and correct some sloppy work. Lacking attention to details and follow up bothered me. The biggest issues is the lack of clean up and keeping the worksite cleans so he and his crew gets an F. I do not think I will be hiring his company in my future projects."

"Although I am pleased with the completed shower, I did not have a great experience. Mason was the sales man, and he was lovely except during the sales process he showed me doors that they no longer stock. No big deal except the doors that we agreed on were not what was delivered. Jim the project manager came out and measured the enclosure , then ordered what we had agreed and put a deposit on. We were told it may take 10 weeks to come in?. It did. The team came in the following week and removed the old tub and walls, did all the prep and plumbing on Monday. We were told as soon as the plumbing inspector came out , and passed their work they would come right back out and start the installation. Passed at 10 AM Tuesday morning, Jim said he would send a crew that afternoon, no one showed up. This went on till Friday, keep in mind, I only have one shower. The crew doing the work was very professional, respectful and kept us updated of the progress and of any issues arose during installation that was outside of their control. "I signed a contract on the first week of June to have PIC Home ?Pros? remodel 3 bathrooms. They stayed for a week in the middle of September, and stopped coming, leaving a vanity in one bathroom, and a shower door in another bathroom completely uninstalled. On the last day here, I was told shower door still has not been manufactured yet, but would take a couple of weeks. They told me that it would cost $150 to have them come back to finish installation, even though contract was for them to complete the work. They ignored my emails to them, so after waiting for 3 weeks and receiving response to my email, I called them, and was told that the shower door is not ready, and even though it?s been 4 months since it was supposed to be ordered, there is still no ETA. I asked that they come back to install the vanity, since we still have no sink in one bathroom. I was told that would cost another $650 to come back and install it. They will work until they are paid in full, then abandon you. "
