Do It All Construction

Steve is awesome! He does amazing work and communicates about everything. Steve replaced our door and and the rotting floor behind it. He also painted all the walls and trim in the main parts of our house. He hired a plasterer to fix our ceiling in our kitchen and he will be back to replace one of our windows in the front too. We will definitely be hiring him again.

My partner and I were struggling to find a good contractor in our area to turn our attic into an office and hobby room. Thankfully we found Steve Shola who took care of the framing and the finishing for us. He took our old and strangely built attic, squared it up, and made it livable. Steve also recommended us a great drywall guy named Scott who took his work and filled it out. The two biggest things that stand out to me are his professionalism and communication. My girlfriend and I are LGBT and at no point did Steve treat us any differently than he would another customer. On top of that he was great at communicating both large and small details about the project to make sure everyone was on the same page. I can't wait to work with him again once our window comes in :)

Start to finish this went very smoothly. Steve came over, went through the entire project, took his time to walk through with me, review and communicate what would take place. He was responsive to my calls and texts, he lined up everything, set a time line and stayed on track. The whole project (which included an electrician, a plumber and a flooring person) was completed quickly and it turned out beautiful. In addition he was nice enough to fixed a few other things for me. I already asked him for pricing on another project, truly enjoyed working with him.

Looks like a totally different room. We would hire him again.

Steve is incredible to work with. He has now completed 4 bathroom remodels for us (across 2 homes). He just finished our latest remodel during which he found several issues, all of which he was flexible enough to address. He also painted two rooms in addition to adding custom wainscoting in the dining room. Everything turned out incredibly and We're very happy with the finished product. In addition, Steve was able to build the PERFECT custom shoe storage unit for our entryway. With little ones running around (and kicking shoes off the minute they got in the door), we were in desperately in need of a storage unit but couldn't find what we were looking for. Steve was able to take my design and turn it into reality, adding his own personal touches along the way. With an ongoing wishlist of home improvement projects, we'll definitely be calling Steve again in the future!

Steve is excellent. He has a lot of experience and does a meticulous job. Steve has done this so long that he looks at a job and immediately gives you a price. He will break down what the cost is for including materials and labor. He is honest and shows up when he says he will. He has never left a job for me unfinished to do something else. I will continue to use Steve for my varying home repair needs because I know I will get a job well done at a fair price.

I have used Steve before and he never disappoints. He is always on time, professional and very personable. He built a beautiful deck and kept me informed on his progress the whole way. I love the way it came out.

Steve was great. The job took a bit of time because of weather and because Steve works alone, but he was excellent at communicating his progress through the entire process. The house looks fabulous and we are delighted with the quality of the work and the materials he used.

STEVE'S WORK IS IMPECCABLE. HE SHOWS UP ON TIME. ALWAYS CLEANS UP. I USED HIM LAST YEAR AND WAS SO HAPPY HE FIT ME IN THIS YEAR AS WELL. THE WORKHE DID WAS EVEN BETTER THAN EXPECTED. THE DOOR HE BUILT WAS GORGEOUS. IT WAS FOR A GARAGE AND I REALLY DID NOT CARE TO MUCH ABOUT HOW IT LOOKE. THEN WHEN HE BUILT IT I LOVED IT MORE THAN THE ORIGINAL.

The renovation came out just as it was envisioned. Steve was very professional and skilled at the job. Even though there were several unexpected issues due to the house being old and settled Steve was able to adjust for them, modify as was needed and took care of the issue so that the final product came out looking spectacular. We went from a 1950's bathroom with tiles falling off of the cement plaster walls to a modern bathroom style with a new shower with glass door, custom vanity with vessel sink, opening up the wall for a large recessed mirror, and new plaster and paint throughout. Additionally, he removed the window in the shower that allowed water to seep into the walls creating mold and the reason the tiles fell off. He did an excellent job patching up the shingle exterior so you couldn't tell where the window used to be. We plan on hiring him again to do additional projects around our home!

Installed 15 vinyl windows. Steve was professional, punctual and does great work. This was the second time I used Steve for a job and I would definitely use him again.

This is not the first or last time working with Steve. He remodeled my mother's house so well I asked him to do work in my own home. Not only does he do very good work but he is honest, knowledgeable, and dependable. I would not hesitate to recommend Steve. As a matter of fact I have already spoken to him about future projects.

Steve does almost everything, and in addition to being a great handyman, furniture maker, and painter, he is also personable and completely unflappable. He gave me an estimate of the time it would take to do the jobs I outlined, and he was spot on. He did little extras without tacking on extra costs. This was the first time I hired him, and I trusted him so much that I made a second list and he was able to do the second list for me right away for an additional and also reasonable price! Among the things I had him do was remove two cabinets that were holding on by a prayer in my kitchen. They weren't really useful to me, but I ended up with dead space over the refrigerator and he suggested a shelf. He matched the oak exactly to my cabinets, and then customized braces to go with the hardware on my cabinet doors! It's a fine job and opens up my kitchen while still providing storage in a really unique way. Will definitely hire Steve again in the future!

Steve was great. He is easy to work with. He is prompt, keeps to a set schedule, and works on the project until it is done. We asked him to remove some wallpaper, paint a couple rooms, and to repair our ceilings and paint them. The work is beautiful. Steve has a clear attention to detail. I could not be happier with the stuff he did!

Steve is a pleasure to work with and his carpentry skills are top notch. He listens to what you want and asks lots of questions to make sure your expectations are met. He is a great problem solver and has the best disposition. Everything went smoothly and he didn’t mind that I was doing some of the work. Excellent response time and reasonable prices. if you can book him you should (he’s a busy guy).

This is the second bathroom Steve has remodeled for us and knew the work would be done well and he would be a professional throughout the whole process. Steve told us how long it would take and when he would be here. He was always on time and started and ended when he said he would. There were several unexpected problems with items we ordered online and had to send back, but this did not bother Steve, he continued to work around any problems. He was patient and did beautiful work. He came back to do extra things unrelated to the bathroom remodel just to help us out with minor fixes. His price was very reasonable. Once again we were completely satisfied and would recommend Steve Shola to anyone who wants a reliable, detail oriented professional to do work in their home.

Incredible start to finish. Steve showed great skill. His detailed work over the course of 5 days never stopped. Started and fished on time. Complete clean up at the end of each day. Also, we have 3 very curious dogs that he interacted with so comfortably that they looked forward to him coming each day

It took me months to find the right person to work with and I can honestly say it was worth the wait. I trusted and respected Steve and he did not let me down. He is easy to work with, reliable, dependable, trustworthy, and a gifted woodworker. He told me how long the job would take and came everyday until the job was done and that was 7 weeks.
