Perfectly. The appointment was easy to schedule with their friendly office coordinator. The guys were on time, polite, and wore masks without being asked. They cleaned up after themselves and left the place as they found it. They were also willing to change out a shower head for me, which I really appreciated. I am 100% satisfied with Malone; from now on, they will be our new plumbing and heating company.

Nate and Drew were professional and did the work and also found the valve that needed to be replaced that we were unaware was no good. Thanks to their knowledge we avoided another problem. Great guys doing great work.

We've used Malone twice now (shame on us) over the years and been thoroughly disappointed with incorrect diagnosis\repair of the issue both times. Both times it was for a tub leak, and it was at two different houses. The first time was years ago at a different house, after a repair guy from Malone coming to look at the leak, I was told I needed to replace an entire tub and plumbing to fix a leak. Thousands of dollars estimated, and $75 paid just to come out and take a peek to tell us that. Was considering it, but as a last resort before going ahead, I used silicone caulk around the edge of the tub where i thought the leak may be starting from and that fixed it- total cost $7 at Home Depot and 15 minutes of caulk work. The most recent time was for a drip from our second floor master bath that damaged our first floor ceiling. I cut holes in the damaged ceiling to get a view of the issue, and then the repair guy came out and took a look. He had to cut a hole in the master bath plumbing side wall and then he said the leak was due to the wrong type of joint nut being used on the pipe and that it needed to be manually tightened. After tightening them, and running the shower for a bit without leaks he said I may need to continue to tighten in the future and that the final fix would be to replace all those pipes with the correct kind, much more expensive. I didn't get the sense the guy was trying to rip me off, but I was charged $155 for that nut "tightening" and "advice" ($75 service charge and the time for him to cut a small hole in the bathroom wall, review and clean up). That same afternoon after he left, I took a shower and noticed the tub was still leaking, same as before. When we called Malone back and let them know the tub was still leaking same as before he came and that we'd like the repair guy to come back to take another look, we were told we'd have to pay another $75 dollars just to have him return. Couldn't believe we'd have to pay even though we called back same day and nothing had changed! The reason we were told is because the plumbers notes said the tub may start leaking again in the future, which we assumed was longer than "the next time you take a shower that same day". The worst part of all this is I took another look at the overflow drain are and found the leak was coming from the gasket. Removed the gasket from the pipe, brought it to a plumbing hardware shop and got a new Gerber bath drain gasket for $3.50. No more leaks, no "tightening" of "loose" joint nuts needed. We understand that finding and fixing leaks may not be easy, and that repair folks should be compensated for their time, but we can't understand why a recall to the location a repair guy had just been at the same day to see why a problem isn't resolved results in another charge. There should be at minimum a 6 hour grace period to confirm something is fixed or to recheck if anything was missed. If you have to charge something, how about half the cost of the service charge? Regardless we learned our lesson and won't be spending any more money on wrong diagnoses from them. The moral of the story here is a few points: Malone's repair techs may have issues diagnosing tub leaks, so think twice before calling to get that fixed, and question the diagnosis on anything else. And secondly always give a tub leak issue a second critical look before reaching out to the "pro's".

Grat John arrived early and figured out the issue he unclogged the drain which was stopped up with grease. He suggested replacing the Rube Goldberg plumbing and did an incredible job. This sink has been a horror show for years so this was a godsend.

Malone likes to take advantage of your misfortune! Call a small independent plumber rather than Malone! This guy who thinks every call should be charged at emergency pricing... My brother-in-law is a Plumber in Mass, and confirmed that I was ripped off by Malone and his band of thiefs!

Company X came for routine maintenance. I mentioned it was losing water faster than before. The tech notices discoloration on a burner tube and thinks there's a small crack and the whole burner needs replacing. Company X gives me a quote and I sit on it for a few months. Company Y comes to also give a quote for replacing the boiler. By now, the rate of water loss is faster, and I can see steam escaping from around the sight tube. I mention this. I get a quote to replace the boiler, but nothing is done to the boiler. Now Malone Plumbing comes to give me a third quote for replacing the boiler. I mention the steam escaping. He removes the sight tube, cleans it, puts it back with new gaskets. He also opens up the case to see if there's any evidence of a steam leak anywhere else. No. A month later I can say that the sight tube was the entire problem. No more rapid water loss. So a little investigating and action cost less than $200 and postponed a $9000 replacement job. That's the kind of problem-solving you want, right?

Great but what should have been about $500 - 600 was $711 . But a great job and a great tech. He made sure everything was working perfectly before he left. . Very pleased with everything. This is an excellent company. Just a little out of my price range. If their prices were lower I would hire them again

We had a great experience with Malone Plumbing and Heating. We recently purchased a home that uses oil heat and has a tankless hot water system that was failing. Additionally the expansion tank was failing causing the pressure valve to being to fail. Tom was very professional, prompt and provided a detailed and comprehensive quote in writing. We did not feel pressured to make a decision and felt that we were well informed regarding the job before work began. Jim, who works in the office is great. He responded quickly to our concerns and questions and was very clear in his communication. The job was completed by Eric and Josh who both did a great job! There were some complications with the work however they were able to work around it and I am truly pleased with everything. Our furnace is running much better now. We would definitely recommend them and will call them again for future work needed.

The technicians were very helpful and knowledgeable. They couldn't determine if there was an actual leak in the kitchen which I couldn't either but I wanted someone else's eyes on it just in case. They did fix a leak I had in the basement and looked around for anything troubling as well. A little on the pricey side but if you want quality work it is definitely worth it. Would recommend to anyone and will continue to use them.

After some frustration with our previous plumber of 15 years I called Malone emergently due to a leak in the kitchen ceiling that several other contractors had not been able to solve. The person I spoke to on the phone was friendly and enthusiastic and extremely upfront with me on exactly how billing would work. He dispatched a plumber who was there 45 minutes after my original call! The plumber, John, was exactly the sort of experienced, seasoned expert I was seeking. He correctly identified the source of the leak, repaired the problem, meticulously explaining the problem and giving me opportunities to clean where appropriate once he removed the toilet. The pricing was exactly as advertised and he even went out of his way to make sure I used an Angie's list coupon when I forgot. Additionally he referred me to a mitigation team which was exactly what I needed to do the next steps in the repair who so far have also proven to be stellar. To sum up, I got exactly the service I needed, on extremely short notice, with an extremely experienced professional. Pricing was transparent and fair. I now feel I finally have a plumbing team I can count on in emergencies.

Fantastic can't say enough about the plumber Eric they sent. Spent the time going through the house initially and pointing out things that needed to be done. Even made some great recommendations on how he would do things. Jim was responsive to my phone calls and got my service scheduled on a timely basis.

I contacted over four plumbers, and Malone's was the only one that gave me comfort that the job would be completed on time, on budget and correctly. Some plumbers never gave me a quote even after taking the time to view the job with me. We called for an estimate, Tom came by and gave us a fair price. We are completely remodeling our house and need to have everything completed on time to be able to move in by the time we sell our current home. They replaced the plumbing stack and added new vents to bring the house up to code. After seeing their work, I decided to have them replace all of the hot and cold water pipes rather than doing it myself. Malone's crew are friendly, professional and will do a great job, priced reasonably. I highly recommend Malone Plumbing and Heating for any project.
