"Highly Recommend!! Scott Shannon ,the owner, showed up totally prepared for our meeting. After reviewing installation requirement and listening to my budget concerns, Scott provided me with a quote. I hired him and two days later the AC was installed."

"Install action went fine but after the installer left we had problems with water pressure. It turned out that the manufacturer installed tubes in the heater where the water goes in and comes out restricting the flow. The technician found this and once removed we had our water pressure back. Although it took two days to resolve, the technician stayed on top of it and made sure the heater worked to our satisfaction.

"I was familiar with this company and when their bid came in significantly lower than others I was happy to contract with them. The workers, Jarid Spangler and Nate Mann were great. They were prompt, efficient, considerate thorough. They left my house clean, and the install is minimally visible, but I know I'll have the comfort installed when the warm weather returns. Overall, I'm very happy with the company and the workmanship and would readily recommend them to anyone."

"I wanted to get a price quote for the installation for pool heater replacement. They charged me $29 for to come and check what needs to be done and give a price quote. They were respectful, professional and punctual. The issue was, they quoted me extremely high for gas connection modification. They asked $699 for the job. I felt like it is too much so I gave a call to another company, a competitor, described what needs to be done and they quoted me $335, what a difference. All in all, I believe they will do a good job but they are trying to charge much more than what the job requires. Make sure you get quotes from another competitor."

Install Boiler questions, answered by experts

Installing a boiler requires training, a specific skill set, and extensive experience. Boiler installation can be extremely dangerous, as it involves working with water lines, gas lines, and electricity. For this reason, it’s strongly recommended that you hire a professional to install your boiler. Some states even consider it illegal to work on a boiler without the proper licensing.

Yes. Boilers need water to run without overheating, also known as dry firing. If you run it without a sufficient volume of water, either because of a burst pipe or a leak, you run the risk of damaging your machine or jeopardizing the safety of your home as a whole. When in doubt, shut off your boiler and repair any plumbing issues before turning it back on. Alternatively, consider installing a low-water cutoff (LWCO) before any issues arise. This gadget will protect your boiler by monitoring water levels and automatically shutting it off if it gets too low.

If you go to turn it counterclockwise and it won’t turn anymore, it’s open. Like most other valves, you should be able to turn a radiator valve counterclockwise (to the left) to open it and clockwise (right) to close it. To close a radiator valve, turn it clockwise until you meet some resistance and can’t turn anymore, but do so carefully to avoid breaking the valve.

DIY is not recommended due to safety risks and technical expertise required. Hire licensed professionals.

Warmed or cooled air can escape your home through drafty windows and doors. If you notice any gaps, be sure to caulk and seal them. You can also hire a local pro for an energy audit to get a list of energy-saving recommendations.

Finally, check your insulation. It can settle in over time and become less effective. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) estimates that you can save an average of 15% on heating and cooling costs (or 11% of total energy costs) by sealing leaks and making sure attics, crawl spaces, and basements have a nice layer of insulation.
