"We could not be happier having hired Joe for a huge job. Our basement was a mess of 60 year old cast iron and a hodge-podge of repairs done by various prior owners. While other companies came out and told us what a nightmare the job would be and quoted us in the $5000 range, Joe calmly assessed what needed to be done, came up with plan and estimated half the cost. He removed every drain line in our home, sinks, tub and toilet, replaced everything with PVC and tied it in logically to the outgoing sewer line. He made sure that all his work was up to code and that we understood each step he was undertaking. He also ran a hot water line so we could install a dishwasher and put a new shutoff on our incoming water service when he notice that ours was in danger of failing. Joe did all the work himself in a single day, checking with us any time he felt we needed to be informed of what he was doing and why. He was punctual, professional and precise. We were also pleasantly surprised when his office called a week later just to be sure things were operating properly and that we were satisfied with the work. That kind of customer service and attention to detail even after the fact is quite rare these days. We look forward to working with Joe again for any plumbing needs we have. We highly recommend him from the smallest jobs to the largest. When we finish the second story of our cape style home, I have little doubt that Joe will be doing the work."

"Repair Service to Fix Gas Boiler - WM Henderson first sends out a tech who is not familiar with gas boilers and admits there is an issue but does not know how to diagnose it. I had to pay $89 for this. Instead of having the right person come out, I had to to actively call again to get someone else to come out. The 2nd tech diagnosed the issue, but wants to charge me the same $89 that I already paid. - and quotes me $380 for the repair - and has to order the part. I agree and then call back the next day to confirm part is on order - and they tell me the charge is $1,015. I asked to speak to a manager to discuss, and no one is available and no one calls me back. I bought the replacement part from a supply where house (confirming it works with my make/model of boiler) and it cost me $165. I have had other scheduling issues with them as well. Don't use them!!!!!!!!"

"I wouldn’t be writing this Review if one thing would have happened, TALK TO ME. Don’t place the answering service in the position of telling a Customer that the Supervisor has left for the day at 2.45p on a Thursday. Especially when the Horizon repairman had just fried our whole cooling system, including the thermostat!! What started with a bad fan motor in a new AC system that was only 3.5 years old in a $10,000 system, for which we had waited 4 days for the new motor to be installed. Add to that the fact that the repairman told me he would be at our home at 8.30a and didn’t arrive until 11.30a - after having to use a vacation day to wait at home for them to arrive. Then telling me this will be ‘quick’ all I have to do is switch out the motor by mounting it and plugging in the new one. Hours went by, nothing. He comes in to test the thermostat and it is non-responsive. He tells me to get new batteries, which I did. Then asks me, “these are new?” To which I say, ‘of course’ - you watched me take them out of the box. Then he goes out to his truck for the next 1.5hrs, supposedly speaks with his Supervisor and comes in and tells me that he has fried the system. I reply by saying I will be calling a senior person to speak with them. Called 4 times and never spoke with anyone. Each time I waited on hold for an extended period of time. Each time, I was then told by the answering service that someone would call and never did. Then at 2.45p I am told “everyone has left for the day” and no one would be calling. This was a Thursday, I had been home all day and no one would speak with me. We remain without an AC system, no plan, no calls - - nothing!!! If I could rate them a ZERO, I would,"

"Fantastic. Jonathan knows what he’s doing, very precise with measurements, and has a wide range of abilities. So friendly and personable. He helped transform our new build house into a finished home. He is able to install many things, curtain rods, ceiling shower rods, heavy mirrors, heavy art work, and now is tackling adding wire rack shelves in our closets. Next up some Ikea cabinets in our laundry, and painting our garage. His prices are up front and very reasonable. He is licensed and insured. We feel he is quite a gem to have found! Would not hesitate to hire him again and again. He is very positive, eager to work and does excellent work."

"Mr. Contractor has my highest recommendation!!! Here are some details. * Excellent Communication!!! From the beginning to the end, we always knew what was happening next. On a weekly and daily basis, I was informed who would be working that week and/or day and what they would be doing. As a woman, I felt my questions and concerns were taken seriously. Ken, co-owner and project manager of Mr. Contractor, and his team take professional service very seriously as Ken, would often say our overall goal is to please the customer. Indeed, they did! *Very well managed large project finished on schedule!!! Our project was a complete basement overhaul and new bathroom on the first floor. From a new dug out cement floor to sheet rocked and painted walls, enclosed closets, open shelving to new vinyl flooring and a separate utility room our basement was transformed! I still get tears in my eyes as I walk down the basement stairs!! *Excellent quality of work by seasoned craftsmen!! Mr. Contractor has their own permanent crew of workers that have 15-20 years’ experience working with the family-owned business established in 1949. I was very impressed with their apprentice/mentoring approach to developing their team of craftsmen someone with less experience worked closely with an experienced craftsman. *The work was reasonably priced and negotiated. All materials were included in the price *Workspace was always clean and orderly!! Having had a couple of renovations done before, I’ve heard contractors say they clean-up at the end of the day, but nothing compares with Mr. Contractors team who not only thoroughly clean the workspace, but also organize their tools and materials for the next day!! They also removed any debris and trash daily. *I cannot emphasize enough how smoothly our project was managed, the quality of work by Mr. Contractors team of crafts people, and the attention placed on listening to our needs, concerns, and feedback as clients."
