"They truly live by the code of "you get what you paid for". The price was cheaper than expected (and they included a free estimate too). So ultimately, our slow bathtub drain was cleared. However, the technician had terrible housekeeping. After stripping the caulking around the overflow valve, they left the caulking pieces in the bathtub and told us to flush them down the drain (?!). They said the provided bio solution would clear the pieces just fine...but why do that when a trash can is less than a foot away?? Then, they did not offer to reseal the valve they just opened...just left a mess for us to pick up. As such, we will not be using them again next time...free estimate or not. If we wanted the bare minimum, we would have done it ourselves."

Goebel and Sons is a small family owned and operated excavation company. Russell, the owner, has been in the excavation industry for 40 years, starting with his Father's excavation company. Russ has held managerial positions at multiple large companies in the area before deciding to start his own. The sons of R. Goebel and Sons include Dan, who graduated from Temple University with a construction management degree, and Jaydon, who is pursuing the same degree at the Pennsylvania Technical Institute. But after getting more than half a dozen quotes from multiple companies (some big and some small), Zieniuk and Sons came by with a reasonable quote (more than half less than some of the bigger companies!) and had the sewage line dug up and replaced in less than a day. All of the workers were competent and professional. Would highly recommend and will definitely use again (although I hope we don’t need to for a while!)."
