Working with Dan and his team on our backyard patio and walkway was exceptional. Dan spent a lot of extra time helping us understand the permitting side which was above and beyond what I imagined. He is a wealth of knowledge and besides being our contractor on this project (which came out absolutely gorgeous), he became our advisor, helping us understand the township codes. Truthfully, this was a breath of fresh air. We have worked with many people before throughout the years, Dan and his entire team are Grade A craftsman, tradesman, artisans, and professionals. Dan and his crew were exceptional in doing our stamped pool deck project. He took his time and helped us come up with a plan and style that complemented our home and ended up making our backyard the oasis that we always wanted. The stamped pool deck is striking and everyone who has seen it states how beautiful the pool area looks. I personally would not hesitate to hire Dan again for any concrete work that I need and have reccomended him to quite of few of my friends and neighbors.

Dan was great to work with. Everything I asked for he did with ease. The communication was great. He lived up to everything he said they would do and at the times they would do it. I wish this was the norm with all contractors, but unfortunately it's rare. Definitely would recommend this company to others.

He understood what we were looking and delivered on the design and final appearance. My family and I absolutely love our new pool patio , stamped coping, and stamped walkway along our deck. Dan at Designer Impressions is more than just your standard concrete mason, he is an artist with concrete as his medium. My project was for an 1,840 sq ft area and required excavation work, an interior 1,200 sq ft garage that was finished glass-smooth, and an exterior 640 sq ft covered patio finished with reclaimed timber stamped concrete. On my project, Dan was not only my concrete expert, but also my excavator, my exterior designer, and my mentor in how to shape my outdoor paradise, ensuring every aspect was done with intention. While other contractors just provided a price per square foot over the phone, Dan came on-site for our initial meeting and immediately demonstrated his professionalism and passion for transforming your standard concrete patio into something to be proud of. During the planning phase, Dan demonstrated that he was more concerned about doing the job right and beautifully then bringing home the biggest paycheck, and offered his years of insight and advice to help us design our dream patio. From day one, Dan went above and beyond - from brainstorming ideas on how to make the covered patio into the space we dreamed it to be, to working with a surveyor to ensure the area that was excavated for the project was plotted exactly as the plans stated, to walking us through each step of the process from excavation through final sealing, to providing frequent and clear communication and always being available for questions, and to providing advice along the way to ensure the interior and exterior portion of the project were absolutely perfect. Dan and his team were very professional while on-site, respectful of my property and neighbors, and ensured the job site was safe every day. 5 stars is the highest rating I can give Designer Impressions on Home Advisor, but they should offer 6 stars for people like Dan who go above and beyond the call of duty. When I was initially selecting a concrete mason, I had read a review about Dan that stated he is more concerned about doing the job right and beautifully then taking home the largest paycheck, I am very happy that that review turned out to be 100% true. If you are looking for someone to handle your next concrete project, look no further, Dan is your guy!

Could not have had a better experience with Dan and Designer Impressions. It was the best contractor experience my wife and I have had. Work was completed on time and looks fantastic. The service and consultation along the way were truly a cut above any other we have received! Dan was responsive and very knowledgeable. He puts art and passion into his work. Our new patio looks amazing. All the neighbors are envious. We highly, highly recommend!

Dan was great to deal with. He was very responsive and detail oriented. He did what he said he was going to do , when he said he would do it. The concrete work looks great and his prices were very competitive. I would definitely hire him again if I needed more concrete work done.

Dan and his crew did an amazing job on my walkway. Dan kept me informed during the whole process. He explained everything he was doing and why he was doing it. He was here when he said he would be and always responded when I reached out to him. I am actually thinking of another project for a patio in my backyard and will absolutely be going with Dan when I pull the trigger. Would recommend Designer Impressions for sure!

Did a very good job

When I questioned why his price was $3000 more than the next highest, he explained what he was going to do and why. Dan was the only contractor that listened to me when I told them 2 large trees had been recently removed and I was concerned about the effects of the ground settling. He was more concerned about providing the best solution, rather than the lowest price. Very professional, very thorough. beautiful job.

Exceptional site and property clean-up after every shift. Crew demonstrated to be proficient at both demolition and being skilled artists/craftsmen down to the finest details. Superior materials used and exceptional finished product provided.

I wish I had found these guys earlier, before struggling with other concrete companies. They did an amazing job, very detailed, took their work seriously, and communicated with us through every step. I highly recommend them!
