Company very responsive and moved quickly to get the job done as hoped for, sending a team out on a Saturday. Job done according to specifications and appears to be very well done. Manager and members of the team sent to install were courteous and professional. I did think, however, the charges were a little pricey given what I was expecting from a previous assessment, and thus I may have shopped around more if not wanting job to be done quickly. Not sure if could have gotten work done more cheaply anyway, so overall quite satisfied.

From estimate to all follow ups we had a great experience. Highlights- * Estimate was in the middle of several we received. It was the lowest one we took seriously. * All work was supervised by the family owner or foreman (also a family member). * Multiple day project - each day they were punctual and made sure to minimize disruption when possible (they were breaking concrete so a jack hammer was needed). * Clean up - very good. * Permits were posted in the window and their insurance checked out. * End product was exactly what we agreed on in the estimate. IF you have time to read a little.... Phil is a great guy. Easy to talk to and he listens to what we want. Like I said above the work went smoothly and we ended up with exactly what we wanted... A DRY BASEMENT!!! Yes! And we were no longer worried that our foundation was going to settle/ or collapse any more. They have a lifetime guarantee and we have put it to the test. Phil has come out three times since the work was completed. I am embarrassed to say that the last one was my own fault but I wasn't charged for any of them. 1. Came out to refit the sump pump drainage pipe that had a very small leak. This was the only one that I see as an actual fix. 2. I saw some very small cracks that had a bit of moisture around them. Phil came out and applied some sort of adhesive or mastic to the entire perimeter, not just the areas of concern. To be honest this was probably caused by the thing we discovered in the third visit but I still wasn't charged. 3. Phil came out again when I had a large puddle.... totally my fault. I had turned off the sump pump to do some electric work in the basement and didn't turn it back on. Phil came out and investigated trying to find the cause of the problem and was friendly and fine with it even when we found out the sump pump wasn't turned on. Throughout the whole experience Phil and his crew were professional but friendly. I have complete confidence that they will provide quality results, and if anything is discovered after the fact their warranty is proven to be reliable.

Crew arrived early, went to work immediately, did the work as agreed upon. Cleaned up everything as indicated, explained pump function, set dehumidifier. Problem solved! Very happy with this company and the work performed.

This is a family run business where everyone is focused on the customer. Phil came out promptly to do the estimate and within a week they started the job. Phil Jr and the crew was out early as promised and completed my project in less than a day. Highly recommend Phil and his crew.

I don't know how they did it, but Phil and his company managed to install a sump pump and French drain at a fraction of the price of his competitors. Not only is their work flawless, but they completed the job in only a few hours. Phil responded within minutes to any of my concerns, and followed up in person to make sure everything was up to my standards. If I had to waterproof 100 basements, I'd hire SJ Waterproofing to fix each one. No question.

Excellent experience working with Phil. highly recommend. I will let you know in 5 years how dry we stay but I expect the best. Phil really knew what he was doing !

I spoke with Phil via email. He was very quick to respond back to me. The morning they arrived they were very prompt, and extremely quiet. My dog didn't even know they were in the house. They left the basement very clean and did a great job considering it was a cinder block wall that had already had something on it so the wall wasn't smooth. The percentage of humidity in the basement wet from 57% with a dehumidifier to 34% without it in one week. We started at 77% humidity when we first called South Jersey Waterproofing. You can feel the difference when you go down there. I would definitely recommend this company. Just be warned South Jersey Waterproofing is not SJ Waterproofing. Same family different company.

When I requested an estimate, Phil arrived as scheduled and reviewed the project. I have a 200+ year old home with the very old stone basement; the mortar was disintegrating. I received the estimate within less than 24 hours and found it to be comparable to other estimates I had received. I found Phil to be quite thorough and very professional. Phil and his crew arrived bright and early (if the dog hadn't barked I wouldn't have known they were there they were so quiet). They covered the area outside so as not to get cement and/or debris on the grass. All in all it took about 6-7 hours, but when they were done, other than the very nice job they did in the basement, you wouldn't have known they were there. That's how clean it was. They also did some brick realignment on the walkway. Great job; great guys.

Phil and his team came over at the exact times they told me, they did a tremendous at a reasonable price. They laid tarps over everything (from the front door down to the basement) and after left the place immaculate. The unfinished side of my basement now looks finished and nice as well as the humidity went from 79% to 35% (I also purchased a dehumidifier as Phil recommended). I would highly recommend them to anyone that is looking to correct wet basements. Great company and great folks.
