"GREAT COMPANY These guys were quick and professional. Chimney issues need to be addressed immediately. I had companies wanting for me to wait one week for an estimate. Depending on the situation, this could be deadly. They showed up quickly, gave me an estimate that was actually less than half of what others were charging and installed the liner. I would hire these guys again without hesitation"

"I recently hired Clark Chimney and Masonry for a chimney cap and liner replacement and I'm extremely satisfied with their service. The team was prompt, professional, and efficient. They took great care in ensuring a clean work environment and thoroughly explained the process. The pricing was fair, and I appreciated their friendly customer service. I highly recommend [Chimney Service Company] for anyone in need of reliable and top-notch chimney services!"

"Fireplace was fine (OPPOSITE of what I had been told by another chimney sweep).  Oil burner side ...not so good.  Flue was heavily cracked and deteriorated.  Entire flue pieces laying at base.  Since this could be a carbon monoxide hazard and I quite often have small children in the house, I didn't think it was anything I should let go unresolved (although I was NOT anticipating spending a couple of thousand dollars at the time).
Bottom line:  New stainless steel liner put in.  Liner secured and resealed top and bottom.  New cap installed - and cracked top cement crown on chimney was replaced with a rubberized product.  Warranty on liner is transferable with the house when/if sold.
While I was not thrilled about hitting my emergency fund for something that you can't SEE, obviously it was important to get it done.  I was eligible for a Senior discount (am I the only one THRILLED to be older when a Senior discount is offered)?  You hit a certain age ... every penny saved helps.
Jon Paul was wonderful.  Not a pushy sales person.  Straight and to the point.  Explained everything in detail.  Personable.  My 4 year old great niece was with me for an overnight visit and she immediately took to him.  (Pay attention to the little ones ~ they're very good judges of character).
I will recommend them at every opportunity and call them again if the need arises.  Five Stars from me!!!"

"They did a great job. They solved all the problems I had with the chimney and it’s been working perfectly ever since. They also fixed a problem on the roof around the chimney; they replaced the wood around the chimney with a material that would never rot, so they fixed it even better than it was before. It took them a couple of days to do the work. They took care of all the cleanup as well. We've been real happy with them."

"We have a coal/wood burning stove in our living room. We use it heavily to supplement the heat provided by an oil furnace. Knowing that chimney fires and carbon monoxide poisoning are a hazard when chimneys are not cleaned and maintained properly, we hire Paul White, owner of Absolute Chimney Services, every year to inspect and clean our chimney. Do not confuse this business with another in the area that has a letter "z" in the name. There is no "z" in Absolute!
Mr. White always responds to our calls in a courteous, timely fashion. He schedules the service at a time that is convenient to us. He works quietly, quickly and cleanly with minimum disruption to our home and schedule. A lot of soot and dust can accumulate in a chimney in a year, but we never find any of it in our home after Mr. White cleans the chimney. He covers the area where he works and cleans up thoroughly when he is done. If he finds a problem, he will take a photo and show it to us to help explain what needs to be done. He never pressures us to buy additional services or parts.
We sleep better at night knowing that our home is protected from chimney fires and carbon monoxide leaks because of yearly cleaning and inspection by Absolute Chimney Services. For safety's sake, have your chimney cleaned and inspected yearly, especially if you have a wood or coal burning stove. Don't wait until cold weather to make the call. You will probably receive faster service if you make your appointment before "heating season" begins.

"This company was very prompt with the estimate. The workers came and completed the job when they said they would and did an amazing job. We will definitely  use them for any roofing issues in the future. Prices were slightly lower then most, but the quality of work performed was fantastic. I highly recommend!

"They really did an exceptional job. The deck rebuild was a complicated job. The deck wasn’t built correctly originally so CM Contracting had to extensively modify the structure. They really did a great job. The deck looks really great, and I think I now have the strongest deck in the Lehigh Valley. The chimney work was a big concern of mine going into the job. The previous owner of the house let the chimney cap rust, and the rust stains ran down the Dryvit. It really looked bad. Chris worked with his paint supplier to get the color to match perfectly. He had Sherwin Williams out to my house on several occasions because Chris wanted it done right. It far exceeded my expectations, and now looks perfect. The caulking and power washing all went well too. I would highly recommend CM Contracting. Chris is very responsive. We would communicate often via phone or txt. His crew is great too. Very polite and friendly."

Chimney Caps questions, answered by experts

You should contact a local range hood installation professional to install your range hood and do the ductwork. Prices range from $50 to $100 per hour, with the total number of hours required varying based on the project complexity. Simple installations might take an hour or two, while more complicated ones can take four hours or more.

A range hood is an exhaust fan for your kitchen, and several types and styles exist. They are meant to remove grease, moisture, and fumes from your stove. Although some models filter and recirculate the air, the most effective ones remove the air through a duct that’s vented to the outdoors.

Most residential range hoods have a CFM between 200 and 600. A higher CFM means your range hood is better at removing smoke and odors from your kitchen. The measurement ultimately depends on your stove’s width and heat output as well as the size of your kitchen.

Compared to the average size of a stove and kitchen, 350 CFM would be the minimum recommended rating for the average kitchen. However, selecting a higher CFM range hood would guarantee better ventilation to match your cooking habits, whether they’re minimal or extensive.
