"Fireplace was fine (OPPOSITE of what I had been told by another chimney sweep).  Oil burner side ...not so good.  Flue was heavily cracked and deteriorated.  Entire flue pieces laying at base.  Since this could be a carbon monoxide hazard and I quite often have small children in the house, I didn't think it was anything I should let go unresolved (although I was NOT anticipating spending a couple of thousand dollars at the time).
Bottom line:  New stainless steel liner put in.  Liner secured and resealed top and bottom.  New cap installed - and cracked top cement crown on chimney was replaced with a rubberized product.  Warranty on liner is transferable with the house when/if sold.
While I was not thrilled about hitting my emergency fund for something that you can't SEE, obviously it was important to get it done.  I was eligible for a Senior discount (am I the only one THRILLED to be older when a Senior discount is offered)?  You hit a certain age ... every penny saved helps.
Jon Paul was wonderful.  Not a pushy sales person.  Straight and to the point.  Explained everything in detail.  Personable.  My 4 year old great niece was with me for an overnight visit and she immediately took to him.  (Pay attention to the little ones ~ they're very good judges of character). 
I will recommend them at every opportunity and call them again if the need arises.  Five Stars from me!!!"

"They did a great job. They solved all the problems I had with the chimney and it’s been working perfectly ever since. They also fixed a problem on the roof around the chimney; they replaced the wood around the chimney with a material that would never rot, so they fixed it even better than it was before. "They really did an exceptional job. The deck rebuild was a complicated job. The deck wasn’t built correctly originally so CM Contracting had to extensively modify the structure. They really did a great job. The deck looks really great, and I think I now have the strongest deck in the Lehigh Valley. The chimney work was a big concern of mine going into the job. The previous owner of the house let the chimney cap rust, and the rust stains ran down the Dryvit. It really looked bad. Chris worked with his paint supplier to get the color to match perfectly.
