"I am not finished with my move with Best Quality Movers, LLC, because they are still storing my **stuff** in their warehouse in LA. However, up to this point, it has been a positive experience. Their people were careful and professional with the move. I will update this review after the completion of the move."

Small jobs welcome

"From the very start, Redefyne truly redefines the moving experience. Aaron conducted a virtual walk through and provided me with separate, detailed estimates for moving, packing, and materials in less than an hour. Even before we selected them, Redefyne sent 4 emails with helpful tips on packing, moving, and essential relocation reminders. They checked in the morning before the move. And the team of Tyler, Trey, Rich, and Casey were on time, polite, careful, efficient, and cheerful all day. Thank you, Redefyne, for making this a much easier moving experience."

"Absolutely the best top notch moving experience! Everything was on schedule, professional, fun, and timely. Moving APT's crew were phenomenal! The move was long but they stayed upbeat and energetic! They wrapped, disassembled, moved, placed, assembled, etc. on and on. And...the cost for all was affordable. I am in the process of scheduling another short move. Ran out of space in my new home! Calling Moving APT!!!"

"This is the third time that I hired Royal Moving. Several years ago, they helped us moved from one location in LA to another location in LA. The move was so smooth that I went back to them in late spring of this year in the middle of the first peak with the pandemic. Because of the covid-19 pandemic, we decided not to be physically present. They went into the apartment, boxed everything themselves and stored a fully furnished 1 bedroom with full kitchen and living room amount of stuffs. We more recently in late October had them moving everything into a house in the Bay Area. The house is situated on a hill with a flight of stairs. Moving us in was a true superman, Serhii. He moved us in effectively and flawlessly. There were a large couch, an entire bedroom set and lots and lots of boxes. Each box was labeled so that we were able to have him place them in the proper room. In summary, Royal Moving deserves the highest possible rating and they absolutely have my complete confidence for any move of any size. Steven F."

Moving FAQs, answered by experts

The best way to pack mirrors is to use specially padded cartons or boxes made for mirrors. Be sure to thoroughly wrap the fragile mirror in padded paper or bubble wrap before sliding it into its box. That way, there’s a protective barrier in between the mirror and the box. Then, fill in any gaps with crumpled paper or additional packing materials.

It is certainly possible to move a piano without hiring movers, but it’s not recommended. Not only will you need at least four people to lift and maneuver the piano, but getting it around tight corners and down flights of stairs might not be possible without the help of movers. Plus, pianos are exceptionally heavy and bulky, which means you and any helping hands are at risk of injury, as well as an increased risk of damaging your piano. Ultimately, it’s always worth it to call in a professional piano mover.

Moving a house is a complex and labor-intensive process, which is why it can get so pricey, particularly if it’s a large home. In some cases, the house may need to be dismantled, moved in sections, and then reassembled at the new location, which can add significantly to the cost of the move. However, it’s typically less costly than building a new home.

Shipping a moving container costs around $3,000 on average, with a typical range of $2,000 to $5,000. For international moves, the price can be as high as $7,000. Costs fluctuate based on factors such as the container's size, weight, travel distance, demand, and fuel prices. To ensure you get the best deal, it is recommended to get quotes from at least three different companies.

There are generally three ways to ship furniture to another state: hiring professional movers, using consolidated freight, or through parcel shipping. Professional movers will generally pack your boxes in a truck and transport them to a storage facility or directly to your home.

A consolidated freight service will pack, load, and ship your items, but this is best to use for one or two pieces since your items will take longer to be delivered and will share truck space with other items. Parcel shipping such as UPS and FedEx is best for smaller items since there are size limits, and you’ll have to drop the boxes off at a local branch.
