"They were the only ones out of 6 companies that looked at the job to actually give me a written estimate. I'm not sure if the job was too small for most of the companies or what. Because of the type of damage (replacing water damaged siding). we knew there would likely be hidden damage. After removing and finding framing damage-They were very thorough in explaining and showing what needed to be done. The price was commiserate with the complexity of the job. And they didn't damage my drywall that was unaffected by the leak which I am extremely grateful for!!!. Hard to do when replacing the frame that the drywall was nailed into!!! All of this was done with a permit and multiple inspections. They also cleaned up each day and very throughly at the jobs end. Making sure that the painter that they subcontracted with touched up every little thing (things I didn't notice). I would definitely hire them again and probably will on my new old house!"

Our design plans required taking our dated kitchen down to the studs, changing the awkward footprint, building custom cabinetry & installing new appliances. We got 3 bids, all of which were within our budget. But JDI had a plan to finish the job in 2 months, while the others required 3-4 months to complete. Their schedule was aggressive but seemed doable. Their project mgr, Eric, was very buttoned-up and a good communicator. Edgar gave a careful estimate, then worked with me patiently to fine-tune a plan for a custom fascia covering job on a 1926 bungalow. The plan was excellent. Material (painted steel) was fabricated expertly to custom specifications for our application. The three workers who performed the work were meticulous in their work and very pleasant to have around. Work was done with great care, as well as cleanup - often a problem with contractors, in my experience. This was not a huge job, but I would hire High Quality Construction Services again without any hesitation."
