"“I would never do business again with Comfort Solutions and Heating. On Oct. 31, one of their servicemen came out to clean our furnace. Three hours later, it quit working. A technician came out again November 1 and installed a new circuit board for $1.065.33 but our furnace still didn't work. In his invoice, he noted that we wanted a new gas furnace since ours was 17 years old, but still came out again November 5 and installed a gas valve which cost $550. Finally Comfort Solutions realized we were looking for a bid proposal. Their final offer was $7,159.19 which didn't include an air filter. I told them we wanted to seek other bid proposals. Comfort Solutions did offer to give us a credit of $1,083 for the circuit board and gas valve. A very reputable firm in business for 92 years, Robber & Sons gave us a proposal for $4,860 including an air filter and a new thermostat. I contacted Brian Adams, the owner of Comfort Solutions asking him to either match their price or give us the credit for the circuit board and gas valve, sending him an email and mailing a letter to him. Five days later and he has yet to contact us. I can't tell you how disappointed I am at Mr. Adams. My wife and I are senior citizens on limited income.. I'm pleased we found another furnace company that isn't overcharging us.”"

A Affordable Septic gave a quote that was extremely reasonable and they surely live up to the name. Marty came out this morning; on time or even a bit early. He was extremely kind and helpful. "Spoke to a Jason?? who called right after I spoke to someone else. Jason was a bit rude and condescending on the phone. Basically I declined the service as I didn't want to pay for a service call just to get a price quote. I understand there are costs involved and a simple "Sorry we can't do it" would have sufficed, but instead he starts rambling about having to pay his guys $60/hour and blah blah blah. He made me feel bad for declining and he said Good Luck and hanged up the phone not giving me a chance to ask further questions nor even to say thank you for his time. Just utterly rude"

"I was notified by my water bureau that I had a major pipe leak and was horrified to learn that the leak added up to 10,000 gallons more than my normal usage in a billing cycle. I contacted Anton Beslic at MasterWorks Plumbing based on the stellar Angi reviews. He came over the following morning and diagnosed the problem within minutes: an old and cracked PVC pipe leading from the house to the meter. Anton made the arrangements to get the job started and mostly completed the following day. That involved getting a permit from the city; having officials mark on my lawn where fiber optic cables, gas lines, etc., were located; hiring a company to bore a new service line from the meter to the house crawl space; installing a quality 60’ pipe that will last way beyond my lifetime; installing an expansion tank on the water heater; and arranging for a final inspection from the city. Anton also installed a main house shut off in the closet next to the crawl space entry, which I did not have previously. I was so impressed by his professionalism, skill, and attention to detail and am forever grateful for how quickly he got the job done. I highly recommend MasterWorks plumbing!"

"made an appointment because the price quoted to me to diagnose my issue was $89 plus tax, if any repairs are made that would be additional. technician spent 15 min in attic to determine nothing was wrong and then spent remaining time speculating what it could be. After all was said and nothing done my bill came to $307. Technician indicated that it was an extended diagnostic visit. I was shocked and appalled! No tools were used, no repairs were done just the technician speculating on my dime. Contacted the main office and Eva said she would refund me $89 by check. It's gouging and dishonest. If I had known i was being charged by the hour, I guarantee he would have been out of my house 20 mins after he arrived. Im considering contacting the BBB and the attorney general if this is not resolved satisfactorily. I have no problem paying the diagnostics charge of $89 plus tax but not the extended portion."

"Dave Whispell (Project Mgr) and Ivan (installer) did a great job for me. They installed a full house Heat Pump system, along with all ducting to my new addition building, new gas lines and a new premium whole house tankless water heater along with all the electrical and venting. Their knowledge and expertise and financing flexibility was 1st class! Their follow up customer care was Gold Standard. I was so pleased with their 1st & 2nd job, I gave them a 3rd job for a 12K Mini Split heat pump on my ADU. They use top brands products backed by 10 & 12 year warranties and very honest service. They were amazing to work with after so many headaches with other contractors on other jobs. All jobs passed on 1st inspections. Highly recommended!"
