If a job is delayed it typically is caused by either weather, where we are abnormally backed up or possibly pending an adjuster approval. "Ms. [Member Name Removed], We are saddened by your review. As you can tell with our other reviews, we take great pride in excellent customer service while providing superior work. We are disappointed you did not contact us direct with your concerns three months ago. We have a Certificate of Completion; Satisfaction report signed on 11/02/15 by your husband upon the completion of our work. All boxes on this form are checked “Yes” including “Are you satisfied with the work that was done?” and “Would you use our company again? He also wrote positive comments about our technician. It is unfortunate other contractors you had in after we left advise you our demolition was unsatisfactory. All our technicians are IICRC Certified and must follow the S500. All work done in your home was done according to the requirements of the IICRC’s S500. If the contractors who make the statement are not certified in remediation of Cat 3 Losses (sewage), they most likely do not understand what is required when Cat 3 water had penetrated through the grout and into the ceiling below. For the health and safety of the homeowner the only way to keep it sanitary was to remove the slate. I would expect the contractors who made the unsatisfactory statement understand slate floors. Slate tiles are made of natural stone. Slate tiles are much stronger than ceramic tiles and when properly installed are extremely difficult to remove without breaking. We also understand as a courtesy, our technician, at the request of your husband, took some old carpeting that was unrelated to this loss, to the dump for you at no charge, we truly believe in making our customers happy. We apologize you are not pleased with the work and are very disappointed you did not contact us direct."
