"They did a good job on our installation of a security camera system. What they did very, very badly was create a quote that was way lower than what it actually ended up costing. Beware of this if you are considering using them! They will cover themselves by saying it?s a ?rough estimate? in order to capture your business?but in our experience, they certainly knew how far they were driving (Clackamas to Hillsboro)..yet the travel costs were roughly triple what was quoted. The original estimate to install a camera system that cost $1,500 was $1,850. I was a little shocked at the estimate..but it ended up being similar to the other quote that I received. The actual invoice came in a little over $2800! No warning that it was going to be way over..and they had an answer for everything?kinda like they?d done this before. Again, the work was good, but there is now way I?d ever use this outfit again or recommend them to anyone I know!"

"We had Don Geyman, owner of DG Communications come to our home to give us an estimate for installing some security cameras around our house. I immediately disliked Mr. Geyman. When telling him that he could absolutely not mess with one of the cords attached to my computer, he started being very condescending and talking down to me, as if I couldnÃ¢Â Â t possibly understand what he was saying. I told him I, in fact, do understand what heÃ¢Â Â s saying but I am saying as the customer that he cannot touch the one specific cord because it doesnÃ¢Â Â t belong to me. Despite this, we paid Mr. Geyman $1955.10 to install these cameras because he demanded payment by check or cash up front. He didnÃ¢Â Â t take cards and would not schedule an installation date unless it was paid up front. Mr. Geyman did not have us sign a contract and did not inform us of any cancellation policies or any kind of fees for an estimate. This is important. A full week before the installation was to occur, we decided to cancel and have someone else do the installation. When I emailed him to cancel, all he said was no and wanted to know if we wanted to reschedule. I emailed back and said no, we are having someone else do it so I will be expecting a full refund. It took Mr. Geyman hours to respond. Eventually he said he would refund us but was going to charge a cancellation fee. Again we did not sign a contract and the paperwork he sent mentioned nothing about a cancellation fee. Mr. Geyman took 10% which was $195.55 for doing absolutely nothing. The refund invoice said it was for his time and administration fee. Had we not paid him up front like he demanded, the estimate would have been free. At minimum this is unethical. There was no signed contract and nothing in the invoice about any fees. Mr. Geyman is not someone you want to work with and best of luck if you want to cancel and get a refund."

David and his crew went to work right away removing old contaminated insulation and then sprayed the crawlspace with an antimicrobial solution before installing the new vapor barrier and insulation. David always kept me informed as the work progressed. I was happy to see they were using respirators, specialized suits and other safety equipment during the process. The crew worked diligently, had a great sense of humor, they were respectful and kept a positive attitude the whole time. I’ve owned other homes, but this is the first time I’ve ever been involved in the restoration of a crawlspace. I knew I was in good hands with David, Nico, Ben, Nayla and their great crew. Offering prompt, professional handyman services to the community. I am an old school values guy and will be there when I say I’m going to be! Insulation, nailing sheetrock, finish work, texture, primer, and painting, sheetrock repairs or patches, sink and disposal installation, pick up and removal, junk hauling etc. If it’s not on my list, just ask, I can most likely help! If you have new appliances, I can install them and help with delivery and set up. Also, I keep work spaces clean and don't mind taking off our shoes if necessary.
