"They showed up earlier than they said they would be here, and got right to work. They weedeated and mowed the back yard which was waist high grass. They bagged up all the lawn trimmings and bagged them, leaving them neatly stacked out front. They also mowed and weedeated the front yard, which wasn't part of the initial quote, for no extra cost. Fast, efficient and professional and would definitely use this service again."

Waste Removal Services questions, answered by experts

The least strenuous methods to get rid of leaves are to use a leaf blower, leaf vacuum, or a lawn mower, since these machines will do most of the work.

The fastest way to remove carpet is to remove carpet in strips instead of trying to remove it in one large piece. Wear protective equipment such as gloves and goggles, use a utility knife to cut the carpet in long strips, and then pull at the edge of the strip to loosen the staples or glue. Carpet-cutting razor blades are best on your utility knife for the quickest removal.

Most junk removal services don’t take hazardous materials, including paint, gasoline, bleach, and other chemicals. When gathering quotes, ask the company about its specific restrictions.

No, you cannot throw away a bottle of ammonia or ammonia-based cleaner in your regular garbage. Instead, dilute it and pour it down the drain or dispose of it in the trash as a neutralized solid material. You can also contact local chemical companies to see if they’ll accept unused containers of ammonia since it does not expire.

Yes, technically, styrofoam is recyclable. Some polystyrene foam products have a “6” symbol and can be set out with your regular recycling. However, recycling most styrofoam requires a special process, which may or may not be available in your community. It’s often not accepted in curbside recycling pickup, but you can research if there are any locations available near you offering the recycling.
