"The young man made the appointment for an estimate right away. Was very knowledgeable. Advised me of some things that I didn’t understand about the job I was wanting done. If I had hired someone that didn’t know what they were doing, I’m afraid they could have tore up my bathroom terrible. Granted, most people are more familiar with their own homes when they are having them cleaned. I had moved into a rental property so I wasn’t familiar with how it was constructed. It could have cost me a fortune if that bathroom had been hurt. It looked like a new bathroom when he was finished. It costs a little more but he showed up on time and worked really hard. I would recommend them to anyone that is serious about wanting to find someone that knows what they are doing and will do a good job."

Marble Restoration questions, answered by experts

Unsealed granite is more susceptible to staining and other damage. Regularly sealing your granite countertops decreases the chances you’ll need to repair damaged countertops in the future. It also keeps it looking shiny rather than becoming dull over time. You can check whether your granite needs resealing by putting a few drops of water on the counter and waiting 15 minutes to see whether the water permeates the surface.

Engineered stone is known for its durability, lasting 15 to 20 years or longer. Of course, this range assumes high-quality materials and regular maintenance. After a couple of decades, the stone will start showing its age. Watch for discoloration, fading, stains, and burns, but it’s unlikely that engineered stone will experience structural failure.

One of the primary benefits of a soapstone countertop is that the material is heat-resistant. You can put a hot pan on soapstone, and it won’t scorch or crack. Despite being able to handle extreme heat, soapstone is much softer than granite, quartz and similar materials. This means that it scratches easily, so you should not prepare food directly on the surface.

Cracks are usually repaired using an epoxy filler that matches the countertop's color. The area is cleaned, the epoxy applied, and then polished to blend with the surface, restoring both strength and appearance.

Marble countertops are often considered better than limestone because of their superior durability and luxurious appearance. Marble is harder and less prone to scratching and denting, though it still requires maintenance and sealing to prevent stains and etching. Marble is typically more expensive, but its beautiful veining and range of colors offer a high-end look.
