Furniture Medic was contracted by our moving company after the moving company damaged (i.e. broke, gouged, scratched, ripped) some of our furniture. They were prompt in calling us in the timeline the moving company said to expect. The woman they sent out to review our furniture and make a plan for repair was professional, on-time, and thorough. I did not select this company and was skeptical to trust who my moving company contracted with, after having a bad experience with the moving company, and I was hoping for a little more reassurance from Furniture Medic as to their qualifications and perhaps to alleviate my concern about whether they could really fix some of the damages. This perhaps made for what I felt was some awkward interactions with the owners in my initial contact and then the day of the furniture repair. They wanted to take my entire (and only) dining room set (table and chairs) to their shop to complete the repairs of the scratches and rubbed off finish. I really did not want to give them my furniture as I was concerned if their touch ups would truly improve the look of the furniture of perhaps just make it look like it was touched up (again after having had a bad service experience with the moving company, I was less-than-trusting). They said it would be okay to have the work done in my home, which I was glad for but I think this made for less-than-ideal set up for the owner; she did not feel she had enough light, and declined me bringing any additional light in. The touch ups were fine enough for the damage that was done. The wooden lamp stand that I did let them take to their shop came back looking great. Some of the other touch ups that they did were fine. Other touch ups did not really restore the furniture to how it was before the moving company damaged them, but I don't think that was responsibility of Furniture Medic. They did a fair enough job. If I needed to use them again, I would probably do so.

It went very well and I'm very happy with what they did. They're a little bit expensive but they make it easy for the customer and I was pleased. I don't have any major complaints and I have no problem with their work. I'm 100% happy with the price but they did everything they said they would do. Once I got a gold of them, they were pretty responsive but it took a while to catch them. When they said they would come, they came so I have no complaints with that. They held their appointments. They were pretty professional and I don't really have an issue with that.

This company was incredible. I would definately recommend them to anyone who needs furniture refinishing. It has been many years since I have used them, and the refinishing was paid for by the company that caused it. I don't have any idea of the actual cost, but I'm sure it was not cheap. We received a horrible gouge in a credenza that had been passed down from my wifes great aunt. The gouge in the top of the credenza was removed by sanding down the top, which removed the finish. The finish was a pecan finish, which isn't done with ease. The Furniture Medic matched the original finish with such expertise that it was not noticeable that any damage had ever been done. He also removed paint over spray, that the first company had also caused, and the furniture looked like it did before it was ever damaged. I HIGHLY recomend this company to anyone who needs furniture restoration.
