"We’ve used Tru-Flow numerous times with repairs and I can confidently say these guys go above and beyond for even the smallest inconvenience. Very professional and timely. In our most recent encounter, Jordan provided - in great detail, what the problem was, how they could fix it, and even recommendations to keep it cost effective. I can’t say enough good things about this company! We will continue using them again and again."

"A crew from Groundworks installed eight floor supports and encapsulated our crawl space last week. Jorge, Isaac, Kenny, Zacch, and Anthony did a great job! They worked very long hours to complete our project in a timely fashion and were great to interact with. They identified several plumbing and air duct problems and brought them to my attention. Jorge, the team leader, was great about communicating with me and keeping me well informed. The after job clean-up was very thorough. Jorge has been available by phone for my questions even after they have moved on to another job. These guys are very deserving of five stars. Also, I want to give a shout out to Anthony who did our inspection/estimate. He was very thorough and patient and made everything understandable. Another five-star guy!"

Plumbing questions, answered by experts

Before starting plumbing projects, confirm your contractor holds a valid state license. You must secure necessary permits for most work beyond simple repairs. Always call the state utility locating service at least three business days before digging. Because Ardmore has expansive clay soils, inspect your existing underground lines first. Check older homes for galvanized or cast-iron pipes to ensure smooth connections.

Helpful?

Always verify your contractor holds an active state license and carries general liability insurance. The professional must be willing and able to pull required permits for your plumbing project. Prioritize local professionals with extensive experience handling slab leaks, root intrusion in clay soils, and winterization. A qualified Ardmore contractor will understand municipal connection requirements and older infrastructure quirks.

Helpful?

Keep basic pipe insulation materials ready to protect exposed pipes before winter storms hit Ardmore. Maintain clear access to your main water shutoff valve and ensure your sewer cleanout caps remain in good condition. When purchasing supplies for minor DIY plumbing tasks, confirm all materials meet state code standards and are fully compatible with the local water pressure and hardness.

Helpful?

Look for cracked pipes or separated joints caused by poor insulation during OK winter freezes. Check for uneven floors or recurring wet spots near slab foundations, as expansive clay soils cause shifting. Mismatched pipes and missing vent stacks indicate unpermitted plumbing work. Persistent metallic tastes, rust stains, soft flooring, or sewer odors also signal failing repairs that require complete replacement.

Helpful?

Schedule a final inspection to officially close your permit and confirm the plumbing work meets code. Run water through multiple fixtures to flush the system, especially if older pipes were disturbed. Insulate any newly exposed pipes before the OK freeze season arrives. Monitor your yard for soil settling after heavy rain, and notify your homeowner insurance carrier about significant upgrades.
