"This review will never do justice to the Dave Richards Home Improvement Co. I am very limited on how many words I can share on this site in a review. Will share my complete review on Google and Co site. We were quite hesitant to even start such a large construction project in our home. We had never had this level of work done within our home. Ashley (Project Manager) and Dave were the 2nd company to submit a bid on our basement remodel (thanks to Angi’s List). They came in with very impressive ideas and were extremely transparent with cost figures from the get-go. Meeting Ashely and Dave felt like meeting long lost members of our family. We had a rare comfort level with them right away. We cannot express fully in this limited review how professional Mikey, Tom, Falvio and Pedro were - the do exceptional work. The entire team was top notch, polite, and determined to give 120% to our project. We would never consider seeking construction expertise anywhere else. "

"Absolute WORST experience I’ve ever had with a company! They are extremely predatory and convinced my 63 year old mother that she had to sign the contract THAT DAY, and she didn’t even understand what she was signing! The first day they were scheduled to do the job, they showed up hours late, and said they “weren’t the right crew to do the job”. We then had to wait a couple weeks for a different crew to come, and when they came they said they weren’t the right crew to do the job either!! 2 weeks later, ANOTHER crew came and said THE SAME EXACT THING!!! So after 3 times of getting the runaround, I was completely FED UP with this horrible company and decided to cancel the contract. They FINALLY did let me cancel, but are demanding we still pay $600! After all they put us through over 3+ months, they had the nerve to charge us $600 for an outlet! PLEASE AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS! All they care about is dollar signs, not about the QUALITY of their work or customer service."

"Basement Finishing complete!! I know finding someone can be stressful so I wanted to give a shout out to Greg Henslee. His price was fair, communication was great and he finished on time (2 months). He was here every day minus weekends and an occasional day here and there. We even went on vacation, he still came everyday with no issues. I know Greg is booked probably through Spring 2026 but if you are looking for recommendations and not in a rush he is definitely worth contacting for a quote."

They were also very gracious about taking care of an issue that was actually our fault. It is evident that Ohio Exteriors cares about the satisfaction of their customers. "ARK remodeling did an amazing job on our shower and bathroom. It was not a standard shower since it is a much larger walk-in shower and some companies said they could not help us. Jean reviewed all of our options, was very patient with us and gave us great advice for the remodel. We went with ARK based on Jean's overall experience, professionalism, honesty and the quality of materials that he uses. His team did an outstanding job of removing the old shower and partial wall and installing the new shower, sliding door and floor. It was a huge effort by his team and resulted in a shower and bathroom that is absolutely stunning. We were truly amazed with the transformation. Jean and his team were great in communicating throughout the project and stayed on schedule. We would highly recommend ARK remodel and really appreciate what they did for us! "

"I would leave 10 starts if I could. Communication and updates were great from start to finish. NIKO and MANUEL are absolutely wonderful. They worked my porch and patio projects start to finish. "Billy from Easy Bath replaced my tub to a shower. He did an outstanding job. It’s been amazing as my husband has bad knees and it’s much safer and easier for him to get in and out of the shower. Plus they installed my new toilet, vanity and faucet for a nominal cost. "

"I wanted straighter/level deck & edges of a 97 year old slate roof before removing the slate, replacing the deck, and replacing the slate with asphalt shingle. My thought was to prop low spots in the wavy front edge in front, and prop the sagging corners in back; then, to build triangular braces similar to one extant on the house, like many on houses of similar age and design in the neighborhood. The idea of propping the low spots was dismissed, discussed again, and eventually dismissed as unnecessary; the low spots were forced up by hand, and fascia boards attached. While I was told the weight of the new roof might drop the level of the low spots again, this may have been more than anticipated; in retrospect it may have been preferable to force the low spots higher than could be done by hand, as the discrepancies from linear in the edges of the roof have, I think, caused inability to properly interface the drip edges and guttering at many places. I would though hire Dave's again."
