Barb was on time, courteous, and informative. She and I were able to make quite a few major decisions in the time allotted. I didn't feel intimidated in any way, and I felt that the cost for her consultation was more than reasonable. I will definitely use her again in the coming months on a consultant basis.

Barb never corrected the uneven sewing problems or the inadequate installation - instead she said she returned $250 - only after she came and took my balloon shades which had been made out of fabric that I purchased (which she did not pay me for) and she billed me for beaded trim and tassels which I returned to her, requested a refund from her husband and never received the refund or heard from Barb Whipple again.

BOTH WOMEN WERE A JOY TO WORK WITH. THEY WERE SO PERSONABLE I FEEL LIKE THEY ARE MY FRIENDS NOW. I AT FIRST WAS HESITANT ABOUT THE LIGHTING THEY CHOSE BUT IT IS PERFECT FOR THE LOOK I WANTED. I'M VERY PICKY & QUESTIONED MOST OF THEIR SUGGESTIONS ACTUALLY, WHICH NOW I'M GOING TO JUST GO WITH WHAT THEY SAY & I WILL BE USING THEM TO DO MY FAMILY ROOM NEXT. THEIR INITIAL CONSULTATION WAS $50, THEN $40 PER HOUR FOR SHOPPING & DECORATING ($250 FOR BOTH ROOMS). BARB'S LABOR TO MAKE 2 ROMAN SHADES,1 VALANCE,4 CHAIR PADS($345). THE ELECTRICIAN THEY REFERRED SAVED ME A FORTUNE ALSO & DID A GREAT JOB. (I HAD A FEW QUOTES & THE ONE I CHOSE CAME WAY UNDER THE OTHER 3 QUOTES BY ONLY CHARGING ME $20 PER HOUR.)

THE WORK DID NOT MEET MY REQUESTS OR EXPECTATIONS IN TERMS OF DESIGN OR QUALITY. SHE DID ATTEMPT TO CORRECT SOME OF THE ISSUES I BROUGHT TO HER ATTENTION, WHILE OTHER ISSUES I POINTED OUT HAVE NOT BEEN ADDRESSED AT ALL. I AM STILL UNSATISFIED WITH THE RESULTS OR THE OFFER SHE HAS MADE TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE. THIS IS MUCH LESS THAN I EXPECTED FROM A PROFESSIONAL.

$40 PER HOUR. SHE USED OUR EXISTING ITEMS. SHE WAS HELPFUL AND WENT WITH ME TO PICK OUT PAINT COLORS AND RUGS. SHE EVEN MADE WINDOW TREATMENTS. SHE IS VERY FLEXIBLE AND DOES THE LABOR HERSELF.
