"Horrible door install!!! Does not close properly, large gap between frame and wall, can see daylight when closed, horrible trim cuts, corners don?t touch and are splintered, obviously used wrong type of saw, used nail head and hammer on trim so I can?t caulk or paint over these nails. This door was custom made. Home Depot measured the opening so it was very expensive and is now ruined. I thought Anji?s list advertised professionals but that is not the case. This was the most amateur work I have ever seen and has cause me much anxiety and sleepless nights. The company owner repeatedly told me he is a Veteran AND an Engineer however, he had no explanation other than to cut the wall out?????? What??? He is a good talker and offered $99 back. However, it is costing me quadruple that to have this door torn out, and reinstalled, and having to purchasing all new trim. If you take pride in you home do not hire this company. "

"Had the contractor come over last week to give me a estimate how much to do the job he looked around and all the cracks and he said $300 than he get 2 gallant paint I got three just to make sure it covers everything so when he came out and looked at it again he didn't see the other cracks so he charged me extra $50 to fix all the cracks I said okay. P S agreed a time to come over to start was 3:30pm he got here at my place close to 5pm anyways. He started working on my front porch when he started painting they taped everything off that's a good thing I guess and fast forward I had to go around to see how the job looked and I saw paint on my rug on my front porch and I was livid but maybe they will clean up after themselves no! I had to look at the cracks he said he put adhesive where the cracks where he lied and said is that how you do other customers. He told us helper to get the caulk and he went over some of the cracks and wasn't pleased and he tried to cover up the paint with another rug than he asked me if he can use my shop vac to clean up his work I said no I'll do because I know he would do a sloppy job on that and ruin my shop vac. And I had to go over a clean up the paint spill that he left and tried to hide l. And before he left trying to do my stairs up front and thinking for the work he did doing my porch I just told I'll think about it just pisses me off I did take photos of the cracks and the mess he left behind"

"Beware of shipping issues with this company. Ordered an ice maker installation kit on 10/10/25. Shipping was due no later than 10/20 according to company and FedEx tracking. FedEx tracking showed the package at their facility for 8 days without moving beginning on 10/15. Called FedEx 3 times. Each time they said they cannot find package and I have to contact shipper. Shipper has to make a claim, they will not mark it as lost. Called Appliance Parts Pros twice. Each time they say FedEx has to mark package lost before they will do anything. They also state they have to wait 14 days from them before doing anything because of their contract with FedEx. I don't care about their contract, I want what was ordered and paid for. Just going in circles with them and FedEX. If they shipped after 14 days it would be 22 days from that point, 32 days from the date of order if they shipped it that day. "Completely rebuilt our 26-year-old wood burning mason fireplace to bring it up to code. In the firebox completely removed fire brick from back and both side walls. completely removed clay flue and replaced with insulated stainless steel. This included adding a lever operated lock top damper and stainless-steel exterior flue cap. Much time was spent adding chamber tech 2000 parge coating to the smoke chamber. Kevon and his two workers were excellent. All details on steps being taken were clearly explained. All carpeting was protected from the front door to the work area in the family room. All debris was removed from the job site. This was a big job that took two days to complete. Am following the recommended wait time and break in steps to be taken. It is comforting to know that we have a completely safe fireplace that is up to code. Looking forward on having Doctor Flue perform annual chimney sweeps during the off season. Now the ice maker is leaking all over the inside of my freezer in January 2026, and they will not address it unless I pay a $99 service fee to even come and inspect it. Sam then explained to me that he will send a techinician out to take a look, but the service call starts at $99. So, they decide if they are responsible or not for the damage, then they decide if you need to pay the service fee. I encourage anyone that has had a bad experience with this company to post an honest review. We used to love this company, and used them many times. Sam has no customer service skills. This is why family owned small businesses are failing. All you had to do was take care of the work you performed. Paying full price for a brand new replacement item that only has a 30 day warranty is crazy."

"This is the first online review I've ever written -- my experience with this company was that bad. Three aspects that deserve attention: 1) I placed an order and tried to cancel six minutes later. Turns out they don't accept cancellations. 2) I couldn't find a phone number, so I had to work the return/refund by email. The exchange was painful -- so unhelpful I felt like I was interacting with a bad chatbot. 3) I ended up eating shipping costs (expected) and got hit for a 50% restocking fee (unexpected) because I refused the package instead of paying to ship it back. Didn't matter that it went to the correct address, was clearly labeled, and had prior return authorization. "Repair Clinic sent me a water intake valve that had some scuff marks and an unnecessary fixture (which I thought nothing of, assuming it had been removed from a new dishwasher). When the part did not fix my dishwasher's issue, I ordered a circulation pump, which also failed to fix the issue, so I decided to return both parts. Repair Clinic blamed me for the scuff marks and extra fixture, which is unacceptable. They referenced their return policy which states that parts which have been installed cannot be returned, and denied me any form of refund. For all I know, the water intake valve was defective, and I have no recourse. Don't put any stock in the "No-Hassle 365-Day Returns" they proudly tout on their homepage. Instead, expect finger-pointing and uncaring dismissal. You are better off with one of their many competitors."

"Repair Clinic sent me a water intake valve that had some scuff marks and an unnecessary fixture (which I thought nothing of, assuming it had been removed from a new dishwasher). When the part did not fix my dishwasher's issue, I ordered a circulation pump, which also failed to fix the issue, so I decided to return both parts. Repair Clinic blamed me for the scuff marks and extra fixture, which is unacceptable. They referenced their return policy which states that parts which have been installed cannot be returned, and denied me any form of refund. For all I know, the water intake valve was defective, and I have no recourse. Don't put any stock in the "No-Hassle 365-Day Returns" they proudly tout on their homepage. Instead, expect finger-pointing and uncaring dismissal. You are better off with one of their many competitors."

However, if the cost of the repair is more than 50% of the price of a new dishwasher, it’s probably worth replacing it. For reference, a new dishwasher costs $1,000 to $1,500 on average, while repairs usually cost several hundred dollars, depending on the specific type of repair.

Some signs that your dishwasher is going out include:

  • The door no longer latches 

  • Dishes are still dirty after a cycle
