It was fine , they were really good it was they put a garage kit in to keep the house very cold it wasn't working properly because of that and when they found they can't put a garage kit for the i had to put the temperature at night. All under warranty and would recommend them

Price quote approx 700.00 for repair. The refrigerator was purchased new for 800.00. Did not have the freezer repaired.

I called later afternoon and they had their technician out the following morning. The damper was not opening letting in the cooled air flow. With a minor adjustment freeing up the vent the problem was fixed. We were charge a diagnostics fee of $64.99 including tax. If a future repair needs to be made we are looking at $287.00 including parts and labor.

I thought it was going well until the end when I had to pay the bill. The price that I was quoted on the phone was not honored. The excuse that was made was that the person quoting me was new. I called around and chose ACE because of the low quote, but at $90 I had 4 quotes that were less. I was upset, but no one - not the service person, not the customer service person, nor the manager apologized or were willing to cut a break and meet me in the middle.

They did a good job. I've use them twice already.

Came out same day. Had to order part but returned as soon as board came in.

He did troubleshoot and gave me a price for replacement of main control board. Price was too high, so just bought a new washing machine.

Troy came out, immediately assessed the problem and told me I could replace the knob by getting it from a local supplier, thereby saving me the cost of him getting the part and replacing it. It was such a simple fix and he could have really overcharged me, but he was honest with me and saved me a lot of money. He even went the extra mile and called the local supplier himself to verify they had the part in stock. Ace Appliance has displayed excellent customer service and I will highly recommend them and use them in the future. I was only charged for the service call, which was discounted because of a coupon I had from their website.

They could not find anything that was wrong and we ended up cleaning the clog. I was not impressed. It was a plugged up line that led to the washer and he did not catch it. When my husband was investigating it later he found it and cleaned it up. They would not take the deal. I would not use him again. He came on time and I think fairly quick. He acted ok but he did not know what he was doing. I do not think he was very educated in what he was doing.

Sean P. #39 was professional and patient, we asked why we had to pay an additional $30 for the Angie's List service call over the $35 originally quoted and he said it was because LG brand was hard to work on and training was harder to find. This is frustrating as after he left I was able to find a full service manual online in one click for my LG oven with step by step instructions and photos, also it gave a self diagnostic two push button procedure that told me the same thing he manually tested that the burner igniters where not working properly, nothing on the main control being defective? If it is a premium brand why is it available at all the discount big box retailers, why did it take him only 5 minutes to tell us it would be $727.79 to fix? I ordered the two burner igniters for $112 total with shipping/tax and fixed both of them within 20 minutes, the oven now works great and I'm very upset as we almost just went ahead and completely replaced the unit as we were staring a $729.79 service bill, also the main control computer was not bad at all, we were lied to? I feel violated, I think Ace Appliance sees a nice house and neighborhood and the price gets raised up, the parts at my no connection retail cost are $112 for the two igniters and a new main control was $126, totaling $238 with shipping and tax. I understand Ace Appliance has to make money and would expect $150 markup for labor, gas, and marketing for this 45 minute job but not almost $500 in labor if they actually paid what I pay for parts which I highly doubt because of there volume in parts purchasing. This is unethical, $489.79 for 45 minutes of labor tops. I'm a Gold Level Angie's List Member, I like your company very much, I would like to be a member for life. In this case I would like a return of my $65 dollars for this horrible experience. I have a copy of the quote that can be emailed if necessary, thank you for your time.

I had visions of this being an expensive repair--thinking a belt (or something more expensive) would need replacing, but it turns out some lint (a lot less lint than you'd think) found its way into the burner and made the burning smell. The repair tech showed me the problem, then cleaned everything up so it wouldn't happen again, and put everything back together. He was prompt, very polite and professional, and worked quickly and efficiently.

Repair was completed and so far, so good.  Will post a follow-up review if solution holds and refrigerator remains free of this issue long-term.

A technician was available the same day that a request for service was made, although a return trip was necessary because repairs could not be completed until the refrigerator was shut down overnight to allow the ice build-up to thaw.  Serviceman was polite and professional.

Would use again.

They are accurate. When they come out you do not have to worry about them coming back out. They fix the job the first time.
