Small jobs welcome

"I love my Shelf Genie products. They are very durable and customized to fit my space. Projects include 3 closets, kitchen cupboards, bathroom closet with built in hampers, and my absolute favorite a custom designed craft area with work space for my sewing machine. The designer/installer was very knowledgable and made top notch suggestions on how best to utilize my space. I highly recommend Shelf Genie of Columbus!"

"The cleaners were here for 12 hours. They did a "deep cleaning" which is why they were here so long. This is the cleanest the house has been since we bought it in 1985. Now I have them cleaning once every two weeks. Hire these folks. You won't regret it."

"Excellent work. We purchased natural cherry cabinets in shaker style, with the panels made of solid wood rather than veneer. That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. Simply put, the doors are beautiful--flawless in both construction and finish. They are similar in quality to custom cherry furniture we own."

"Although I had some initial troubles getting on Ines' schedule at the beginning, once Ines and her staff arrived, it was more than worth the wait!  Before she was about to look at the disaster that was my basement, I jokingly made her promise that she wouldn't run away.  My basement runs the full circumference of my house and had been neglected for nearly two years...  accumulating empty boxes, boxes filled with out-grown baby clothes, sporting equipment, Christmas decor, toys, etc, etc, etc.  I told Ines that if she could somehow just get 50% of it cleaned out and organized, that I would be thrilled.
She fearlessly asked me a few questions as to where I would like things to go and then began instructing her crew.  They immediately got to work.  She came upstairs to ask me a question about 45 minutes into the job.  When I came down into the basement, I couldn't believe my eyes.  They had already completed 50% of the basement and she said she would get the entire thing done.  I didn't even have any answers for where I wanted things to go because I never imagined them getting so much done!  At that point, I just told Ines that I trusted her judgement and to arrange it like she would if it were her own.  After 1.5 hrs (a total of 4.5 total man-hours - even though I was only charged for 4), my entire basement was transformed.  When my wife came home to do a walk through, her jaw hit the floor.  I'm trying not to exaggerate, but it was truly a spectacular job.
After completion, Ines said that they were happy to assist with any future jobs.  I said that my next project would be my garage, which I also has neglected for 2 years, without any type of spring-cleaning cleanout, etc.  The garage was very dirty and also had a lot of tools, appliances, camping gear, etc.  She looked things over and told me that they could probably knock it out in 45 minutes.  We negotiated a fair price, and just like that, every item was removed from my garage... swept out, hosed out, and rearranged in much better order than I had it in.
I would surely call on Ines again and will be looking into using her general housecleaning services, in the future.

"Met with Pat Jewell in our home as she presented different designs and wood kinds available for use.  Mike, the carpenter worked with diligence and preciseness.  What an improvement to our closet!  It now looks like "Home Beautiful" magazine!  All workers were good, thoughtful and respectful of our home.  The steps were covered with a plastic covering.  All sawdust was disposed of.  They carted away all of their trash and old shelving. We were very pleased with the time schedule with work completed within time estimate. We were pleased with the expert workers who were brought in.
The workers always spoke when entering our home and told us when they were leaving at the close of the day or for their lunch break. They didn't leave any trash in our home. If there was a question about anything, Dale Jewell always met with us to explain it."

Closets questions, answered by experts

Most packing services take 4-12 hours, while unpacking may take 1-2 days, depending on volume.

Built-in furniture maximizes space, offers a tailored look, and enhances room functionality.

A standard walk-in closet has dimensions of 7 feet by 10 feet at a minimum and an average of 100 square feet. Remember that the dimensions of the closet aren’t necessarily the usable space. This means that a 100-square-foot walk-in closet with shelves on each wall and an island may only have a walkable area of 50 square feet or less. Make sure you consider the effect of additions when you plan the room—mockups are a great idea.

A foyer or entryway is typically a formal landing area for guests, located at the primary entrance of a home. It is often more formally decorated and connects directly to the main living space. In contrast, a mudroom is a more casual, utilitarian room, usually leading in from a secondary entrance like a garage or the side or rear of the house. It serves as a space for residents to remove shoes and outerwear to keep mud, dirt, and water out of the main home.

When storing your clothes long-term, first consider the container's breathability. While plastic bags, cardboard boxes, or vacuum sealing may be great options for short-term storage, they won’t help your clothes hold up in the long term. Breathable plastic boxes and fabric bags help with airflow, prevent mold or mildew from building up, and allow proper airflow.
