"I met with multiple cleaning services before settling on Luzia's. I wanted to surprise my wife with a professional Spring cleaning. I was a little skeptical at first, during the walkthrough I'd asked if there was a checklist or form used by the cleaners so I would know what services were being performed. I was told "No, we clean everything." That set off some warning bells but I'd heard great things about Luzia's so I took the claim at face value. I was absolutely amazed by the work ethic and finished product. My first instinct when seeing the house after they had left was that we had to put our house on the market. It looked brand new, better than it did when we bought it two years ago. We relocated to the area so my wife could care for her ailing parents while still working full time. With our hectic work schedules we hadn't performed our Spring cleaning the previous year which is typically a whole-family affair that includes scrubbing the walls. We have some high standards when it comes to cleaning and were afraid we wouldn't find a cleaning company that cleans a home as if it were their own.
Just some highlights:
The carpets were vacuumed very well and they even put the pattern in it. You know the one. It's a nice touch.
They cleaned the cabinets, including the tops of the cabinet doors. Another nice touch.
They cleaned out our fireplace, something I never expected they would do. I don't mean they scooped out the ashes. They brushed out the bottom and it looked like it hadn't been used in years when they were done.
They washed out our dog's water bowl and the plastic mat we keep it on so he doesn't drool everywhere. Completely crazy, they are cleaning machines.
Our windows were spotless, they cleaned them all inside and out and the birds didn't appreciate it too much. We had several birds learn the hard way that our windows weren't open in the weeks following the cleaning.
They took all of our shoes out of the foyer closets, cleaned the closets, then put the shoes back in straight rows. My daughter is now being held to that standard much to her dismay.

"This company provided a telephone estimate and I scheduled their services to move on a Saturday. They were able to move us despite our short time frame for the move. The estimate was nearly spot on the final cost. The movers arrived promptly and were willing to work around our request to start on the 2nd floor of the home. The company rents wardrobe boxes and 10 boxes were reserved for the move and were expected to arrive on the day of the move. However the wardrobe boxes were not on the moving truck as expected. The movers attempted to contact their coordinator (it was a Saturday move) but they were not able to have boxes delivered. The moving team included three men. They worked very hard, they communicated well as a team and were positive in all interactions with us. We had a very tall bookcase that needed to be moved through a 2nd story window. The movers were not confident moving it through the window so we contacted a friend and with his help, my husband was able to guide the case out of the window and the movers took it from him and moved it into the truck without difficulty. They were very careful. They protected doorways and floors and both houses have lots of steps. Our items arrived without damage. The guys hustled. They placed every item where I requested, and when they told me that our bed frame would not make it up the turn in the staircase, just so I could see it with my own eyes, they took the furniture up the stairs to show me. Kudos to their hard work and their moving knowledge. They guided a piano out of our first house and up ten steps into our new place! My only complaint has NOTHING to do with the men moving us. After the move, I called to discuss my disappointment that all of our closet contents could not be moved by the movers because of the missing wardrobe boxes, and that was not expected for our move day. The person who answered the phone was professional and transferred me to a decision maker (the owner?). He told me that I had a good rate and shouldn't complain. I explained that I wasn't complaining about the overall rate, I was complaining that the move did not go as expected due to the missing wardrobe boxes. In the end he applied an agreed upon discount. His attitude was the least professional of everyone I spoke to while planning the move or on the day of the move. Overall, the precise estimate, exhausting work and care performed by the workers outweigh the negativity I experienced over the phone after the move. Good work folks!"

"Met with Pat Jewell in our home as she presented different designs and wood kinds available for use. Mike, the carpenter worked with diligence and preciseness. What an improvement to our closet! It now looks like "Home Beautiful" magazine! All workers were good, thoughtful and respectful of our home. The steps were covered with a plastic covering. All sawdust was disposed of. They carted away all of their trash and old shelving. We were very pleased with the time schedule with work completed within time estimate. We were pleased with the expert workers who were brought in. The workers always spoke when entering our home and told us when they were leaving at the close of the day or for their lunch break. They didn't leave any trash in our home. If there was a question about anything, Dale Jewell always met with us to explain it."

"Justin Rush was very professional and accommodating with working to get my work scheduled. I am very pleased with the work done. While I had originally contacted them for the caulk work, they also installed 120 linear feet of 1/4 round in a bedroom, two closets, and a stair landing. This was also well done. Lastly, they patched a hole that was in the wall of the bedroom where they were working to install the 1/4 round. This was something that they noticed and wanted to fix for me.
