"The sales staff were very professional and informative. They used a thermal camera to actually show me my insulation needs instead of just trying to convince me what I needed. When they showed to do the work, the install crew was awesome! They were neat, clean, and very meticulous with the work they did. They also were very patient with all of our questions. It was more expensive than having blown in cellulose done, but the end result in savings on her utilities more than made up the difference and then some!"

"Jordan and Alex arrived on May 16, 2022. They listened to my observations and assessment then climbed onto the roof to examine the nest location. Finding the location, they installed two traps (entrance & exit) which were baited. Alex entered the attic to determine as to entry. The squirrels had not chewed into the attic! I was instructed to observe the traps each morning and notify Jordan via text. As it turned out, no squirrels returned, therefore, on May 20 Jordan returned. He retrieved the traps and sealed two points of entry on the soffit using sheet metal painted to match the house paint. Jordan secured it with weatherproof screws and sealant in order to prevent future entry. As of this review, all is well. Jordan and Alex demonstrated professionalism, friendliness, detailed communication, and skilled work. Hopefully no more squirrels. However, if the situation occurs again, I will call Buckeye Wildlife Solutions."

"C I did a wonderful job installing a new front door and storm door for us. Both doors were top quality and the installers were quick and did a great clean up. Door function and seal were perfect. We have lived in several houses over the years and there is always work to be done but I don't think I have worked with a better outfit, from sales to installation, than CI. Thanks guys!"

Customers say: Terrific value

"Can’t say enough good things about Marcus. He was on time, professional, and extremely honest with inspection and estimate. On agreed work he showed up early and worked efficiently, cleaned up area, and discussed his work when completed. I would definitely recommend Reba’s for any home repair/install. He definitely earns 5* all around."

Eifs Installers questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can install a bay window in an existing house. You’ll need to have a structural engineer draw up plans to add the necessary support to your exterior load-bearing walls and a general contractor to make the changes to the framing around the new wall opening. This will cost an average of $3,000. After that work is done, a window installer can set the new bay window in place.

The proper way to install a window well is to measure the window, dig a hole deeper and wider than the window, place a drainage tube and cap, anchor the well to the foundation, caulk the seam, and backfill the hole. The job requires tools such as a hammer drill and auger and some heavy digging. Proper placement and window well installation are critical to preventing water from leaking into the window.

Most modern egress windows installed in basements open outward into a window well, although some older homes have in-swing windows. Egress windows, like casement windows used in other parts of the home, such as bedrooms and bathrooms, may open inward, and these windows are often larger than outward-opening windows.

Egress windows require regular maintenance to ensure they function correctly. This includes cleaning the glass, inspecting the frame and well for debris, and making sure the cover or well drains properly. It is also important to check that the window sills and wells are watertight and to inspect and repair any damage to the window frame or seals to prevent leaks and maintain functionality.

The entire window replacement process, from the initial consultation to the final installation, typically takes between four and 15 weeks. This timeline accounts for measuring appointments, ordering, and manufacturing. On the day of the job, the physical installation takes about 30 minutes to two hours per window. A full-house replacement can take one to three days to complete. Factors that can extend this timeline include the total number of windows, custom sizes, complex window types, second-story installations, and any necessary repairs to existing window frames or openings.
