This was a great experience from start to finish. They arrived on time got and got the work done with zero mess even though this involves drilling a large hole in the basement floor. The system did what it’s supposed to do and reduced radon levels to almost 0. I am very happy with this company and would highly recommended them.The price was great too.

Excellent service - do not even think of going to anyone else. I called around 10:30a, Jesse picked up the call immediately. Our house had a radon mitigation system installed in 1998. The fan started making a screeching noise and needed to be replaced. Jesse, realizing the urgency, squeezed us in the same day. He said he could be here between 1 and 2. He arrived early at 12:40p and the fan was replaced by 1p. Price was reasonable. I had called one other company before him and they said they could only schedule an appointment after Apr 3.

Jesse and Andrew were absolute professionals through the whole process. After an offer fell through on my house due to high radon levels, I was anxious to address the problem as quickly as possible. Jesse was able to work with my timeline, and made sure all of my questions were answered. My house is old and I was worried that regular mitigation methods might not adequately reduce our levels (a fear reinforced by another contractor's assessment). Jesse and Andrew assured me that they would do everything possible to reduce the levels, and guaranteed the results. Boy, did they deliver. Our very high levels were reduced to practically nothing. Jesse and Andrew were calm and confident through the entire process, which is exactly what I needed. A+ rating all around.

They were quick to respond for an estimate. They arrived on time and completed the work as outlined. I would highly recommend them to friends who might require this service.

I highly recommend A&J Radon for any mitigation work that you need. They text me almost immediately after submitting a quote request, and scheduling was very easy. Their system was non-obtrusive, and I could tell that Jesse really listened to my concerns. He patiently answered all questions and got us scheduled very quickly due to my concerns with our levels. They guaranteed their work and put everything in writing which I think shows true professional integrity! I'm happy to say we won't need them again (since they fixed the issue!), but I know that any maintenance and/or concerns I have will be addressed in a professional manner.

Response to my initial contact was prompt. My home is older and the configuration of the basement presented some challenges. Jesse seemed very knowledgeable about options and installed a radon system that has worked well, based on radon testing results after the system was installed. The installation was done quickly and exactly as proposed. The pricing was very reasonable when compared to other quotes I received. There might have been a need to have a second suction point due to a structural issue in the basement. I am grateful Jesse recommended starting with a single suction point and measuring its effectiveness before going with 2 suction points. The single suction point is working well and saved me the extra expense of the second suction point which ended up not being necessary. Another company wanted to start with 2 suction points. I am very pleased with the work done and all contacts with this company.

Everything went very well. Jesse responded quickly, came and gave estimate, set up appt for work to be done on our schedules. We wanted the pipe to be inside our garage instead of on outside of the house. He gave us estimate for both and explained what he would do. He came on time, did a very neat job and cleaned up. He came back the following week to check Radon level, it had went down from 4.0 to 0.7. We paid more to have system in our garage as it had to go through garage attic. We would highly recommend him.

sent quotes thru Angie's list to 3 companies on Saturday and A&J was the first one to respond within 4 hours. Another one responded on Monday and never heard from the other one. Made appointment with Jesse on Sunday and he got there on time and quoted us only $850.00. Job was well done today. Highly recommend.

Called A&J first and they responded almost immediately. Jesse was able to fit us in that afternoon. He arrived on time, was knowledgeable, answered my questions and sent me a quote later that evening. The second company I called still had not called me back by the second day so I went with my gut and hired A&J. I was not disappointed. I was working with three different schedules and Jess had no problem working with me. On installation day, he again arrived on time and ready to work. He was efficient while answering questions from my husband and my dad. He did superbly and finished the job in under 4 hours. Unfortunately, our number didn’t come in under the required 4.0 and Jesse was back out to our house and drilled another hole with pipe that my husband found perfectly acceptable to his future basement improvements, all at no extra cost. Just back today and our reading is 2.1. No reservations about hiring A&J Radon Away. Absolutely the best in my opinion. Sidebar……still waiting for the other company to call!!

Everything was done very well and professionally.

It went very well, I requested estimates through Angie's list from 3 companies, A&J responded 1st, the company I initially planned on using responded 2nd and almost a day later, and the other didnt respond at all. I was asked several basic questions to assess my basement setup which allowed for an accurate estimate over the phone. A & J was out a few days later to assess what needed to be done and provide a quote. Once we scheduled an install date, the mitigation system was installed and much quicker than quoted. I highly recommend.

It went great. Jesse explained what would be done; it was similar to all the other quotes. A&J was the least expensive option. They two arrived on ahead of time, got right to work, and completed within a little over 2 hours. They set up a monitor to re-test the exposure level, and since it was the Labor Day weekend, the monitoring continued until the following Tuesday; and came back within the appropriate limits.

Great. Jesse was very knowledgeable and provided an effective but less expensive solution than we had anticipated. The work was done on schedule. We certainly recommend A&J Radon Away.

I had two basements done. The first went according to plan but the second required some follow-up to get the levels under control. Jesse was always very responsive and professional and the overall outcome exceeded expectations.

Jesse and his crew were very courteous, professional, and so easy to work with. And bottom line, they did an amazing job. My radon level tested almost next to nothing after the job was completed. Had another contractor come in and inspect my crawl space for other issues, and he was very impressed with the encapsulation. Always good to hear from a third party that has no strings attached. Jesse was very professional and answered all of our questions with great knowledge. He ran our test and the numbers were some what high. He knew immediately knew the issue. Apparently the existing passive system pipe was stubbed too far into our sub slab, and Jesse spent extra time digging and shortening the pipe without additional charges, he truly wanted to make sure that our newly finished area for our children was safe. We could not be happier that he took the time to make our home a safer place for our family. We highly recommend A & J.

It was a pretty good experience. The guy was punctual, and cleaned before he installed the insulation. Everything was done as requested and they left the area clean. He even explained everything thoroughly.

They provided excellent service. Their pricing was excellent too. They were quick, clean and professional. I was in the middle construction at this property and they still treated the home like it was a brand new home. They cleaned up their area and were on top of everything.
