Customers say: True professional

"When I tell you these guys are pros, they are pros. I love having referrals instead of big companies and Sandman was one of the best referrals we've ever had. They have done two of our floors and both look amazing. The first floor was a re-finish of an existing floor and the other was tearing out the entire floor and starting from the floorboards. Their process is fantastic and they usually finish one floor in about 4 days. They are also great at communication and John let's you know where you are at in the process at all times. If you want your hardwood floor done right, this is the company you want to do it. If we ever need our floors done again, I will be calling them out. On top of their great work, they are extremely nice, polite, and they will let you know when they need something. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!"

"He was very professional and does excellent work. I had a floor repair and before I could go and pick up supplies for the repair they had already repaired the floor before I returned. They removed the old carpet, repaired the floor, moved the furniture, installed new carpet and cleaned up before moving on to the next room. When I saw them vacuuming the first room before starting on the second room I knew I would forever use this company for all future carpet installations. The added plus was that they were inexpensive too! Thanks again"

"Refloor did a great job on my basement and laundry room floors. The salesperson was very knowledgeable and made picking a color easy. My old floors were scratched up because of my dogs but my new floor is definitely more durable. I definitely recommend Refloor to anyone that wants new flooring in their home, you won't be disappointed!"

"Alex and Adam were our installers. They were super efficient, professional and really nice. Before they started any work, they covered anything that could get messy including our floors from the front door to the bathroom. They kept us informed of every step from demo to finish. Highly recommend this dynamic duo."

"Mr. Doug of Perrell Flooring Installation performed the work. What I valued most is the fact I was able to get an estimate with in a day of calling, he showed up on time to start work and was able to start right away and complete the job in 2 days. When an unforeseen issue came up with one of the cut off valves he was able to handle."

The covering was beautiful. They used stone with epoxy glue and put it on with trowels. It was a beautiful looking job when they got it done. However, after one year it started to get blemishes on it. We have a 10year material, 5year Labor and service warranty on it so they came out and tried to recoat it but it only made it worse. When I called them to come back out they told me they couldn't come out until June 12 then they pushed it back to July 09. It has been a full year before they could come back out and correct it. I lost 3 years on my warranty before they could come out and do something.  Now I have a beautiful looking deck with blemishes in it. They can't even tell me what's wrong with it. They tell me they are going to come out and fix it but they never do.

Response to Nature Stone
Your confused ?   Well I'm not
According to my records . I have the right dates, names, phone numbers & pictures
#1 Yes the deck was done Aug 2010
#2 Didn't hear from us until  Aug.2012 ?
Answer : Wrong: Correct Answer Aug 2011
#3Visited us in April 2012 to address the real problem?
Answer : Never We have been begging for that .
Aug. 2011 We called . We were told you were booked up & for us to call first of the year . Called
Jan.2012, told me you do not start scheduling until March & promised we would be first on the list.AGAIN
put off until June14,2012.you say you Power washed at no charge as a good will gesture . My copy
signed by your employee reads customer power washed . He called & asked if he could come the evening
of June 13, 2012 instead of 14th I told him I power washed  floor in morning & didn't know if it would be dry
said he had dryers when he came he said it was dry & top Coated It I told him it didn't take care of the problem  he said to let dry
for a couple days. Didn't solve the problem.    You contacted us June 12 & Customer Said  they were happy ? WRONG You sent a gentleman out on June 19,2012 to Heat strip &  Recoat, then again I did the Heat pressure the day before & due to rain we agreed to let it go until 2013 & there was NOJOB WAS DONE THAT DAY.
#4  You have not heard back from the customer since? WRONG. I have the order that was signed by your employee  after he called his boss & set the schedule for June 12, 2013 . I called your office on June 11,2013 to tell them it had been raining & could we get it the following Monday June, 17 2013, your office girl told us no they only send people out in this area on Wednesday's . I told her I would like to have it done  before July 4th she said no I only work here So I asked to talk to her boss . Hours later I got that call, and her Boss would not bend to get it done ,He said July 9th, we said come out June 12th & if it rained do it July 9Th, he said if I didn't take the July 9th & it rained June 12th I would be pushed to the end of  July, 2013, so I had to take that date
# 5 Now Nature Stone  responds on June 24th  & said he has  not heard from this customer since 2012.?
Answer: an employee called by phone by the name of Josh to respond about Angie's list  on June 24th 2013 & I thought it was all
resolved & he said July 9th they would be here & get the job done right  1 hour later I get on Angie' list & find all lies the he told.
Customer would love to hear from Owner of This Company

UP DATE ON NATURE STONE.
On July 9, 2013  Nature Stone sent a gentleman out to address my problem ( White patches all through the floor of my deck )
He looked it over good and went to work to take care of the problem. I must say he worked very hard to make it right. I was very
pleased when he got done. the deck looked beautiful and all one color. I told him I really appreciated his effort he put into this
and thanked him . He was very well mannered also.  Thank you again,  Charles Bootman

Flooring Installation questions, answered by experts

Without walls, other options to quiet an open space are to add noise-dampening materials like rugs, carpets, curtains, and soft furniture. These can act as a barrier to block and absorb sound. More expensive alternatives include acoustic panels, room dividers and temporary walls, and more advanced soundproofing.

To prepare a floor for a steam mop, it’s essential to vacuum or sweep the floor thoroughly to remove dirt, dust, pet hair, and other debris. Skipping this step can lead to streaky results and may cause you to simply spread grime instead of removing it. Worse, hard debris can scratch or damage delicate floors like hardwood or laminate. Proper prep helps ensure a truly clean and protected surface.

Carpet is most often affixed to the floor by tacks in tack strips rather than nailed or glued directly to the subfloor. The tack strips are nailed to wood subfloors. Even if you want to install carpet over concrete, you’ll adhere the tack strips to the concrete with masonry nails or a liquid adhesive.

No, when done correctly, removing the tile shouldn’t damage the subfloor. However, if there was pre-existing damage to the subfloor from standard use or lack of maintenance, the subfloor may need repairs. For example, if the contractors notice mold growth on the subfloor or an uneven surface, you may need more extensive services before installing new tile.

If you DIY tile removal, remove the tiles one step at a time, individually removing the tile, grout, and mortar to prevent unnecessarily damaging the subfloor. Depending on the age of your home, consider having a professional inspect the subfloor to ensure it’s in good enough condition to lay new tile.

The flooring that is the least toxic is solid wood. Natural linoleum, tile, stone, bamboo, and cork flooring also make the list of least-toxic flooring types. These flooring materials are safer and healthier for your home because they are natural materials that aren’t manufactured with chemicals, unlike laminate flooring. While some laminate flooring brands are made with less formaldehyde, many contain high levels of toxic chemicals that can off-gas in your home for months and years after installation.

Choosing natural flooring materials that are easy to clean without chemical cleansers can also help keep your home safer.
