"Recently moved into a home that had irrigation and I had no clue as to whether is worked or if it worked, how to make it work. Call Go Green Irrigations and they came and checked the system, which needed work, and made several trips to get it back to working. Even the most shade-tolerant turf grass needs at least three or four hours of full sunlight or a good amount of partial sunlight throughout the day. You might want to look at other gardening options for full shade, like plants that can survive in full shade, hardscaping, or structural architecture, to still get that yard of your dreams without compromising on your landscaping design. 

Foxtail self-seeds and dispurses them among other grasses and pastures. The seeds can spread by wind and by attaching themselves to animals and humans. Seeds will germinate in their new location and become a new plant, which continues the spread of foxtail. If you use a starter fertilizer designed for this purpose, you can overseed and fertilize at the same time. If you opt to use a fertilizer for established grass or one with a weed control component, it's best to wait at least four to eight weeks after seed application to allow the new grass to take hold and establish itself.
