Around 1 AM, a tech called and said they were about 20 minutes away - conriemed by a text with tech name and picture. The tech immediately diagnosed the issue and found a wiring harness that had been displaced during the intial reassembly. 10 minutes later - problem resolved

"It went better than I ever expected. The technician examined my furnace, and quot;mappedand quot; all of the duct work, experimented with a variety of things (closing dampers, closing vents), and spent well over an hour consulting me about the problem. Every other HVAC company I'd asked about the problem had recommended very expensive solutions (installing a ductless system, re-routing ducts, etc.). Kinkopf Brothers came up with a much better preliminary solution, which includes insulating my attic and closing off certain dampers to force more conditioned air to the upstairs of my house. They recommended starting with these less expensive solutions before investing in a very expensive ductless system or other solution, which I greatly appreciated. I was impressed that they took so much time to carefully diagnose the problem and didn't immediately insist on selling me expensive products or services. After nearly two hours of consultation - which did not result in a sale of products/services for them - they charged me only for a service call. I will definitely call them again if I need HVAC services.

"This company replaced my sewer line two years ago. It took me two years to try and level my lawn by hand, then realized that the cleanout was 12-14 inches above ground. Although my job was out of warranty, Sal's sent out two plumbers to fix the issue. My dad always taught me to search and maintain a relationship with businesses that stand behind their work. "When I turned back my system it works - no issues - Tech came 'for nothing'... charged: $95.00.. INSANE!! They did install 2 floors - 2 separate HVAC - Lennox.. Upstairs and main floor. Their Lennox coil (upstairs) failed after barely 4 years!! - charged?? yes.. I was 'under warranty'.. how much?? ~$1,000!!! Tech told me Lennox had law suit for 'low quality parts' used in their coils!! What a scam!! I'm not happy with them - especially I found them via Costco that I used to trust!! :(... In addition they sold us their extended warranty - sure 'free parts' with hiper premium charges (labor not covered).. Sorry, will hire someone else in future - simply that I disagree with their business model of selling 'free parts' warranties and charging premiums... just to show off and charging me $95 for his 10 mins staying home was mistake.. no more mercy.
