Showed up within the window, got straight to work and finished in a timely manner.

They arrived right on schedule. Dave found problem immediately, called office and the blower was delivered shortly thereafter. Dave installed and while he was here, checked the entire AC system and set up thermostat as well. Very professional and responsive. Would certainly recommend this firm.

The initial install went very well. Unfortunately, the new unit compressor failed after a few months. Dunedin Refrigeration wasn't able to get a replacement compressor in a timely manner so they replaced the whole outdoor unit! I was very impressed with the service.

This is an excellent firm to work with. Prior to replacing my entire system I spoke with 3 companies (including the one I had worked with previously) and after careful review of all 3 estimates, it became clear that Dunedin Refrigeration offered the best value by quite a margin. The installation went very well and they were extremely helpful in setting up our new electronics such as the thermostat and getting our new system connected on our phones, etc., which saved us time from having to figure it ourselves. Everyone from their receptionists, sales representative (who I asked to visit twice before making a final decision) to the installers to the foreman to Mr. Bowman, the owner, was incredibly professional and easy to work with. I highly recommend working with Dunedin Refrigeration.

We had a problem with the A/C at our house...argh!! Air was cool but not cold like normal so we called Dunedin Refrigeration. We have been really burnt by "other companies" in the past. (wont mention any names for the sake of professionalism). I called Dunedin Refrigeration yesterday and they asked what time would be best to come by our house THE NEXT DAY!! ? I had meetings in the mornings so I said anytime after 2pm. (thinking, like those other companies I wouldn't see anyone until around 4-6pm) BUT with them, I got a call at 2pm and was told the technician was on his way! ? Nick, the technician showed up 20 minutes later. I Showed him the issue, where the unit was and let him do his thing. Luckily it was just a freon charge and no leaks or other issues. ? From the first phone call in, to the whole process, this was BY FAR the best experience I have ever had with an HVAC company!! The technician, Nick was professional, courteous, very knowledgeable and walked me through the whole process. I can see why they have been in business for over 40 years...WOW. Great job Dunedin Refrigeration, I highly recommend them and you have a customer for LIFE!!! ?

Great! A little surprised that it failed since it is a Trane system, but they honored the warranty and we only had to pay labor. Dunedin Refrigeration is good about going and getting parts and coming back the same day.

The Dunedin Refrigeration crew of 6 guys and the boss Jeff Bowman came out and in 2 days we had changed the the returns, moved the AC out of the attic to the garage, put in "our choice" of Everclear tubes for allergies reduction, at a reasonable additional cost, installed our new units and we are extremely happy with the quality of their workmanship in the garage. After the installation my wife who still had questions asked about 25 more and Jeff Bowman came out personally and adjusted a couple of things she wanted - which made it even better and answered all of her questions. There are not many patient people in the HVAC game in Palm Harbor, FL but Dunedin Refrigeration is the exception. We visited with them at their office across from the spring training center for the Toronto Blue Jays and their staff seems to be a customer oriented group of people with 30 plus years of experience. Also at 78 degrees the DAIKIN keeps it very cool in our house. Our AC costs went down as well. We bought the Daikin for a couple of reasons #1 as long as the new unit is inspected once a year on maintenance $89 to $120 parts are under warranty for 12 years. If the condenser goes kaput they change the outside unit up to 6 years. So we are covered in writing until 2029 on parts and up to 2023 on the condenser. No other company would put it in writing to this extent before we bought it so we could read the fine print but Dunedin Refrigeration did, We didn't buy a labor contract because I believe in paying if and or when something happens and not in advance. Their labor rates for 2017 are $125 hour I believe they said - a little higher than some, competitive with most HVAC contractors. They don't pay Angie's list a monthly fee which most of the other vendors made sure we knew that they did - one of the 100 questions, we asked everyone. We also got work references from Dunedin so were pretty confident of our decision before commissioning them to do the work. They do all the work and charge when they are finished. I wanted to put it on a particular credit card because of low interest rate they offered and get a copy from them so they allowed me to come to their office for a 3rd time the following week and run it, handing me an actual receipt from the credit card company I used. Dunedin assured us they would take financing too if I needed it. We bought the straight cool unit not the heat pump unit (my call) so the price below reflects that not a heat pump

Work was done on time. Clean was good. System is operating well. County inspector required them to come back to address minor issue that was taken care of within a few days.

I’ve been doing business with them since 1994. I’ve bought a unit through them. I’ve used them for everything. I pay once a year for this service agreement for 2 visits a year. I absolutely would use them again. They office personal are absolutely professional and helpful. All the service people they’ve sent out over the years have been very professional. They’ve all been careful to not track dirt in, they always put shoe covers on when they come into your house. They’ve been professional. They’ve been in and out. When I’ve had problems, like I had an overflow one time of the unit that was in the attic. They had to flush out the unit. Because I had a service contract with them, it was totally free. So, they really honor what they say they will. I’ve never had a moments problem with them.

It was a good experience. I am very pleased. They have the best price and the best service, they did it all on time and took care of everything.

Good work, thorough, responsive, technician was informative.

My unit that is about 4-5 years old wasn't blowing any heat. The technician tore it apart and replaced it. It was about $500, then said he didn't like the way the air conditioner felt, then replaced it at no cost. They have a very quick response. I have a service contract with them and they check the whole system twice a year. They all know what they're doing.

Estimator came and reviewed the unit - no high pressure sales tactics like 4 others I called. They were able to come out next day for the install. Both onsite technicians were great - took great care of all items to get everything just right. Kept work area clean and ensured all questions were answered for us. Air coming out is so cold (see picture) it is amazing! Unit is whisperer quiet - had to turn off my dryer to hear the fan running. We ended up with a 12 year warranty ( most others only do 10) and a price that was $2000 less than what the other 4 companies were quoting.

They're always very pleasant they want to be there to help. They're really punctual they are there when they tell you they're going to be there.
