"John worked around the fact that we had to move our main electric service on our home. That meant he had to jump around a little while installing and finishing the roofing. Our job got prolonged a little but he made sure everything was finished to our satisfaction"

"We were impressed with Correy after our initial meeting; after receiving two other quotes and design ideas, Correy's was the only one with great thought put into the design to think outside the box while also abiding by city guidelines. He was happy to send along several iterations and ideas to us, and while he couldn't always get back to us right away (con of a small business), we often found him staying up until 2am just to keep to his word and provide us with next steps. Correy was on-site at the beginning and end of the project, and stopped by as needed in between (pro of the small business). His team was prompt, professional and knowledgeable, and they worked hard to keep our project to the timeline Correy had promised. The team demo'd an existing small patio and stairs, then dug, leveled ground, and laid pavers for a new patio, fire pit and seating wall. Correy was happy to address any potential issues or concerns we faced throughout the project, which took 6 business days to complete, and ensured we were happy with the end result before requesting payment. Correy was recommended to us by a neighbor and we would recommend him to others."

Tv Mount Install questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can mount a TV on plaster walls—as long as you attach it to the studs. Alternatively, you can use toggle bolts, molly bolts, or another type of hardware that’s strong enough to support a TV.

If you aren’t comfortable with this type of project, you can hire a pro. The cost of mounting a TV to a plaster wall ranges from $25 to $600 (or more), depending on the TV’s weight, size, and other factors.

Yes, they assess space and TV size to recommend appropriate mounting solutions.

The shorter the coaxial cable, the better. The further you run the cable, the more signal loss you'll experience. At 50 feet, you'll see significant signal loss, and by 100 feet, you'll experience at least a 30% drop in signal strength.

The cost to have a TV professionally mounted typically ranges from $160 to $360, with a national average of about $260. This price is for labor and does not include the TV mount itself. Several factors can affect the final cost, including the size of the TV and the type of mount used; for example, a fireplace mount costs more than an under-cabinet one. If you want to hide the wires within the wall, the price can increase significantly, potentially to $1,000 or more. For an accurate estimate, it is best to contact a local TV mounting service.

Finding a professional to mount your television to the wall is a little challenging because no licenses exist for this type of work. You could ask friends or neighbors for recommendations. Check out online reviews, too. Typically, though, almost any local handyman can do the work. A local electronics store or the place where you bought the TV may have a recommendation for you. A local framer or drywall installer might do the work for you as well. If you need an outlet installed for the new TV, an electrician may do both items for you.
