Great! My AC is now working great. Also, I discussed changing out my furnace and AC equipment in a few months with Zephyr from DK Heating and Sons. Dear Angie, DK Heating & Sons is great! DK replaced my new AOSmith hot water tank (still under full warranty) and upgraded my warranty replacement tank from AOSmith at a $497 upgrade fee from AOSmith. (This upgrade fee amount of $497 is the cost problem I picked from your Survey choices.) The original tank was not proper for my application and did not work properly. (My HWT would not turn on the pilot to reheat the HWT. Supposedly a venting issue.) DK worked with AOSmith to correct my problem with the lowest cost to me. They arrived quickly and did the repairs, but their labor charge was way out of line. We will not use them again. They charged more than the cost of a new unit.

Better than hoped. They offered us an after-hours same day appt. but we opted for the following morning. They were able to identify the problem, find the motor in stock, returned in 20 minutes and within 45 minutes, had the repairs completed. I had also hired them 2 years ago to install an AC system.....they were my first choice this time around. Would recommend them highly....very professional, fast, clean, and friendly!

The contract was concise, the price was fair, and the crew was very courteous, professional and tidy. The crew was prompt and the entire job was completed in one day. They did an excellent job with the entire installation and the clean-up.

Charged $300 for 1 1/2 lbs.

Very well. They were in and out in one day. They forgot to add a couple of gas shut off valves for the rest of the house but returned right away to fix the problem.

DK did an excellent job of installing and designing systems that were perfect for our applications. We purchased a Century home that had a outdated HVAC system to say the least. DK was very professional and left our home clean and ready to use the products. With the winter we just experienced our home remained very comfortable in all areas.We would absolutely use them for future products and would sign a service agreement with them to maintain our systems.They currently service two more of our properties and are available day or night.

Our furnace stopped working on a 15 degree day.  We called hoping to get a same day appointment.  Dave moved his schedule around to fit us in.  Within two hours of our call our furnace was running.  He quickly and accurately diagnosed the problem, replaced the part, then waited around to make sure the furnace was running as it should.  (We were very lucky that he had the part we needed in his truck.)  He was professional, personable, knowledgeable and polite.  I would not hesitate to use this company in the future.

They listened to what we want and they did not try to give us what we did not need but good advice. They were very responsive.

From the moment Dave M arrived until he completed our furnace clean and check everything went smoothly.  He was very professional and even put cloth slippers over his shoes so he wouldn't track anything into our home.  Very pleasant person and did a very thorough furnace cleaning and check.   The company was great to work with.  They were able to schedule the visit within a couple of days and at a time that worked great for us.  We have purchased a condo and I am going to have DK Heating & Sons Inc. come out and perform a furnace clean and check at our new place.   Would highly recommend this company and it's technicians to anyone needing HVAC  Services!!!

It went real well.  He was very nice and very professional.  He did a really good job.  He explained everything that he did and told us what we needed to change (filters) and when to do it.

I have to say this is the best contractor service I have recieved from anybody.  The timeliness, professionalism, communication, execution and price were all top notch.  They came out to help advise in insatlling an A/C system into my my 1929 2400 sf cape cod home.  I originally thought I would go with a high velocity system but they went over the advantages and cons of high velocity and a split system.  In the end, they helped guide me into a split system that I am completely happy with.  I received the qoute within a day and we went ahead and scheduled the install in the next month.  It took two days to install the system with three head units.  I had two upstairs and one downstairs.  The installation was very professional and I couldn't be happier with the appearance and quality of the install. They walked me through the ENTIRE installation routes and there were no surprises. I was given a thorough session on how to use the system and how it works.  Again, all very top notch.  I now have a home where I can control the humidity and temperture with an efficient and very quiet system.  I wouldn't recommend them highly....I would recommend them absolutely as the best.

DK came highly recommended from a friend of mine that uses them on a regular basis.  There price was in the same range as the other 2 HVAC contractors but I used them because of how highly my friend spoke of them.  There tech Randy showed up on the job and explained to me everything he was doing.  He completed the job very professionally and left the area that he was working in cleaner than when he started.  Very Happy with the work they did and Vince is such a reasonable guy to work with.

Our family has used DK Heating for many years for various problems and services such as furnace tune-up and filter replacement.  I was recently impressed when Zephyr was able to trouble-shoot a problem over the phone and saved us a service call.
The company is timely, reliable, reasonably priced and has good communication with clients.

Made my initial call with DK, expecting an estimate within a few days; however, the same day Randy came out to give me an estimate on a replacement furnace, AC and potentially a humidifier.  He noticed some asbestos wrap on two duct runs.  When I inquired about how we should handle it, he suggested sending out a specialist to look at it.  The expert, came out and explained it was not dangerous, but as a precaution should be wrapped in plastic and taken out in one piece.  I interviewed three companies and was most impressed with Randy and DK.  Price quotes were similar, but felt Randy took more time explaining what needed to be done and had very good customer service skills.  I contracted to replace the furnace and some ductwork.  The work was scheduled quickly and the job was done 3 days later.  I will purchase the AC system in the late Spring.  I also want to mention that the property was missing a duct cover in the kitchen.  Randy offerd to drop a new cover off the next day, which he did.  This was going above and beyond and was truly appreciated.  Clean-up was good and nothing was damaged during the removal and installation of the furnaces.  Will definitely use DK in the future and will recommend them to friends and family looking for an exceptional Heating/AC company.

DK Heating exceeded expectations in performing the work.  It's workmen arrived on time and worked overtime to complete the installation in one day rather than the two days that we thought the job would take.  They removed all of our old equipment, leaving our home clean and undamaged in every respect.  They did not even disturbed the outside bed in which the heat pump sits.  Before they left they explained in detail the operation of the new system and told us to call if we had any questions.  The new heat pump and air handler are working fine.
We recommend DK Heating.
