I explained to him that my cellar has floode due the problems and was anxious to get the repairs done. Justin quoted a price that was fair and much lower then any other estimates. To my surprise he said that he could do the job that day. He kept sending me pictures as the work progressed so I knew exactlywhat he was doing. "I contacted the provider upon receiving the Angi referral. They contacted me and came the next day to provide an estimate. The technician inspected the chimney and provided an estimate. I agreed to the estimate and charged my credit card for the $1,214.14 deposit. I received two different invoices via email for the deposit and estimate. They were from two different companies, neither of which was A1 Chimney Services. I became suspicious of a possible fraud situation and emailed the address on one of the invoices asking to cancel the service request and receive a refund for the deposit. I sent a second email with no response and spoke to two different representatives with the same request. No one responded. I filed a Better Business Bureau complaint and registered a dispute with my credit card company relative to the deposit. I received a text from an A1 representative on September 26th asking if he could assist me since he saw that the deposit charge was in dispute. I made the same refund request. He said that he could not do anything until the bank finished their investigation. The bank closed the dispute and restored the charge to my credit card on October 19th. I texted the representative again with the refund request. There was no response to request number 6. I have not been contacted again by A1 since 9/26."

"We had water coming in around the chimney in our home..We contacted this company the owner Ken Lemmons came out quoted $2300.00 in repairs to fix the problem.. We have contract stating exactly what needed to be preformed..After repairs were supposedly completed on Oct 8,2018 we had a big rain the last week in Oct and the chimney was leaking worst than before.. We called, he argued, and claimed we had the repairs done early in the summer, he did everything he was supposed to and we need to call someone else. We asked him to come out and look at the water problem he said he would be here in couple hours and never showed up and will not return any phone calls..We did have someone come out and discovered he did not make the repairs as contracted.. what little he did were not done correctly, He was suppose to fix all cracks and re-motor, replace the cap he did not do this, he used some synthetic appoxy to fill some areas, And spreed something over the top, He was suppose to seal the entire chimney, he half sprayed some of it and we are left with big runs down our beautiful stone and minimal coverage. He was supposed to remove old caulking around the flashing make any repairs and re-caulk he did not do this either he sparsely slapped incorrect caulk over old caulk..I have attached pictures and a copy of the contract below..We have been scammed out of $2,300.00 on a recommendation from Angie's List"
