Craig did a great job matching color and texture as best he could. The worked was completed quickly and exceed my expectations.

Craig did a great job and was very accommodating to my schedules/weather. Had window planting boxes removed from home and concrete had holes/cracks needing repair. Sidewalk had cracks and Craig filled those as well. Would recommend highly.

Extremely well, Craig ( the owner), was familiar with the relocation's demands. He was quick to respond to my situation (a sale was pending on my house), gave me a reasonable quote for the amount of work needed to satisfy the relocation company, and able to complete the work before closing. Craig was reliable, honest, professional and eased the immense stress I was under. It was because of him that I was able to sell my home to the satisfaction of myself, my relo-company and my buyer. Thank you Craig!!!

Fine. He began the job two days after we agreed on the estimate. When we encountered a problem with the stoop, he improvised and found a different yet effective way to proceed.

Went well and quicker than expected.

Every thing turned out well. He went beyond what I hired him to do. Would definately use him again.

While he could have told me I needed extensive repairs or just made up something to pay him back the time it took him to roam around my roof in the cold he did not. He evaluated the masonry and said it was fine and he could not see any issues. I will tell you one thing if I ever do need masonry work, or any of the services he provides I definitely will call this very honest man to do it.

Craig did a great job. All of the work he did looks good and most importantly seems to be extremely solid. Whenever there were hiccups with his work schedule (e.g. days of heavy rain) he clearly communicated what his work schedule was going to be so I was never left wondering what the status of the project was. He was also happy to discuss the progress of the project every day and make sure that my concerns were addressed.

When providing the installation of my patio and my kitchen backsplash all debris was cleaned up at the end of each day.  It was great to come home and not see a mess of debris and dust.   Both jobs were completed in a timely manner and within the agreed upon cost.  My neighbors couldn't believe how nice the patio and backslash looked.   One neighbor even hired Riverstone Masonry to do a patio for them.   I am very Happy with the service of Riverstone Masonry and would hire them again.

We had a list of things for him to do and we paid him in advance. I remember his connection with Angie's List so vividly because after he agreed to work for us for a week, he didn't show up on the first day so he could work from someone on Angie's List. We had paid for that day. Maybe a month afterwards there was a home improvement fair and Angie's List had a booth there. I walked over and said, "I'm not on the List but you need to know about this company," and I could tell they were not particularly interested. He did not show up when he was supposed to even though he'd been paid in advance. His work was no good. The other thing that bothered me is that even though we had a written contract, he tried to get an extra $300 out of me. There are only two explanations: that he either tried to get extra money out of me because he thought I didn't know any better, or that he didn't bother to check the written contract and deduct the work he didn't do, which at the very least means he was careless about whether he was overcharging us. Over the course of the job, my husband had to keep calling him to remind him about parts of the job he'd forgotten and even ended up doing part of it himself. My husband had to paint the mailbox and the trim below the patio door, move the wood he left in the driveway, and try to get up all the concrete that he dumped in the front yard and left there. He'll also have to repair -- or pay to repair -- a crack in the step that he didn't patch. More than anything, we're disturbed by the lack of pride he showed in his work. He took old broken brick out of my yard to patch it, and he told me that he couldn't buy that brick anymore. We found out later that we could. I gave him an F on price because he quoted a fair price but then he tried to cheat us by adding an extra $300.

Craig Kukay struggled from the start. In fact, the Inspector from the City of Upper Arlington had to meet with me mid-project, so I could explain to Craig Kukay what needed to be done. Craig Kukay left concrete block exposed where there should have been pavers. The mortar joints were too large and, in some instances, as wide as the pavers themselves! Many of the pavers were uneven, creating "trips" and areas where rain water collected. The Inspector refused to pass the project, citing that the stair riser heights were anywhere from 5.75 inches to 8.25 inches. They need to be almost exactly the same to meet code. Three of the four risers had one course of pavers, while the fourth riser had two courses of brick. Unfortunately, I paid Mr. Kukay in full before the Inspector inspected the project. Mr. Kukay promised to return and redo the risers but never did! I've had three masons look at his work and each of them are appalled. They said the whole project has to be torn out and redone!

THEY CLEANED UP VERY WELL. THIS WAS A SMALL JOB, FITTED IT IN ON A SUNDAY MORNING. HE IS AN INTERESTING PERSON.

HE DID A NICE JOB AND I AM VERY PLEASED. HOWEVER IN APRIL, 2003 I NOTICED THE PAVERS IN FRONT OF THE WINDOW WELLS WERE SINKING. THE BED THEY'RE ON IS SLIPPING DOWN INTO THE WINDOW WELL. HE INSPECTED IT ON APRIL 17, 2003 AND DETERMINED THE WELLS WERE NOT STANDARD, OFF THE SHELF SIZES. HE OFFERED AND WE AGREED HE WOULD TRY TO FIND THE RIGHT SIZE. I HAVEN'T HEARD FROM HIM SINCE AND HE DOES NOT RETURN MY MESSAGES. I JUST WANT TO KNOW WHERE HE STANDS. IF HE DOES NOT VALUE ME AS A CUSTOMER THEN I DON'T VALUE HIM AS A SERVICE PROVIDER.

QUALITY OF BRICKWORK LEAD ONE TO BELIEVE THAT HE HAD NEVER TOUCHED BRICK & MORTAR BEFORE: SLOPPY MORTAR, UNEVEN BRICKS, ETC. MESSY JOB SITE- WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND FOR MASONRY WORK.

QUALITY OF CONCRETE WORK IS POOR (ROUGH, UNFINISHED AND CRACKED EDGES). DELAYED STARTING FOR 3 WEEKS. LEFT A MESSY JOB SITE. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!

FIRST PATIO NOT UP TO QUALITY STANDARDS. NO FINISHED EDGE, MORTAR IS LOOSE LIKE SAND, AND STONES ARE LOOSE. DAMAGE DONE TO DOWNSPOUTS, SOD AND PLASTIC FENCING. NIA- COMPANY RESPONDED, BUT DID NOT RESOLVE. WROTE UP IN 12.99. KM 9.27.99.

EXCEPTIONAL WORK, DIFFICULT SITE FOR THE WORK. DRYSTONE WALL COMPLETED IN A VERY PROFESSIONAL, CAREFUL MANNER, VERY PUNCTUAL FOR ESTIMATE AND WORK, EXCEPTIONAL CLEAN UP,HARD WORKING

HE PUT UP STONE PILLARS. HE DID THE WORK HIMSELF. HE WAS VERY PERSONABLE AND KNOLEDGABLE. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM.
