We use nontoxic solutions to safely and effectively clean your carpet and treat pet urine stains & odors to keep your pets and family healthy. If you have a pet, you need our pet safe carpet cleaning process. We also donate more to the local animal adoption center each time you schedule carpet cleaning. We have pets of our own so we know how important it is to take care of pet stain & odor issues safely & effectively. We have a customized treatment for just about every pet stain and odor problem you can think of. We can deal with dander, odor, oily spots, urine and situations that require a more advanced approach. But don’t worry, there are plenty of pet stains that come out with our standard steam cleaning process! For stains that are a little more stubborn we can use our Basic Pet Treatment process by pretreating the area with urine stain remover which helps neutralize and remove yellowing, then we thoroughly steam clean the area. After thoroughly cleaning the area we apply an enzyme that treats the fibers and neutralizes odors. If stains and odors are caused by frequent pet urination in the same spot, we can step up to our Advanced Pet Treatment process. We treat the carpet fibers and the padding by pretreating the area with urine stain remover. We then saturate the padding with an oxygen powered solution to break down stains and odors. After waiting 30 minutes for the enzymes to work their magic, we extract the stain with high-powered extraction. Sounds scary but it’s not bad for your carpet or your pets! Once extraction is complete we thoroughly clean the area again with a process that is designed to cancel out odors, leaving a light, pleasant fragrance. If our Advanced Pet Treatment is not enough we can get more aggressive and go a step further by disengaging the carpet, replacing the padding and sealing the subfloor. We will do everything we can to get your carpet back in great shape.

So you have decided to give your old furniture new life. Great! The process to get a piece reupholstered is very simple. First, go to the Yardage and Estimates Page. Here you will see the amount of fabric you will need for your project, as well as the labor charge for upholstery. Second, select and purchase your fabric. I have listed a few local stores that sell upholstery fabric on the Fabric Locator page. (As I am always looking for good references to on-line or local fabric merchants, please email me if you have a good source to share. I would love to put it on the page!) Third, contact me by email or phone to schedule a time to pickup your project. I usually complete projects within 3-4 weeks of pickup and then deliver them back to you. Owner operated. No subs. Charges a flat rate. Travel charges may apply more than 20 miles from Columbus.

"The cushion on a favorite chair became damaged (new puppy). I thought we would need to have it reupholstered since the fabric was no longer available. I went to Fortner's. Monica helped me search for the fabric, but nothing would match. However, she suggested a way it could be fixed without redoing the entire chair. They were able to take some fabric from the chair (an unseen part) and repair the cushion. Although I didn't have to have the chair completely reupholstered, they still treated it with importance. It looks great. One would never know it had been badly damaged."

I used them once while living in Columbus after another company did a botched job. The tech concurred it was bad. Owner refused to provide a statement on the workmanship to use in court. Then, I later attempted to use them again after moving 60 miles away. Owner tried to rip me off by charging a $300 travel fee. Left a bad review. Owner responded inappropriately putting the blame back on me saying I was just mad about them not providing a statement for my court case. Technician realized his boss was being a jerk and offered to do the work under the table. Having lived in many places, I came to find this is your typical Appalachia Ohio customer service experience. Thankfully, I’ve since left."

"They did a fantastic job. The Hunter Douglas Silhouette blinds are especially delicate and seem to be dirt magnets. They came out beautiful, looking like new, and in perfect working condition. Shauna went above and beyond by noticing some of the brackets were getting worn and cracked. She arranged to get the replacements from Hunter Douglas for us which is just amazing customer service since she was there to clean, not repair. The process was extremely convenient. Shauna removed each blind one at a time, took them out to my garage, where she has set up her cleaning equipment, and about 20 minutes later, brought the blind back in looking new and re-hung the blind. I was able to keep working and my son was able to take one of his college courses online while Shauna worked. She was as quiet as you could be inside the house and none of us heard the cleaning equipment going from in the garage. If you're thinking about getting your blinds cleaned, especially the fabric ones, do it. The results are great and this company knows what it's doing and does it extremely well."
