Emergency services offered. 40 years in business. Prices are quoted upfront. Family owned. State Certified Plumbing Contractor. Additional DBA's: Andy Wyatt Plumbing, The New Plumbing Co., Inc., Wyatt Plumbing & Heating, Inc., Wyatt Works Plumbing Solutions & Wyatt Works. Consider it done.

"As I requested they provided the cost for drain snaking upfront. A simple procedure that most others would not quote. (They wanted to do a separate "diagnostic" visit and additional fee. The work was fine. The technician very competent and concientious about keeping things clean. The only rub, they wanted $179 to put the toilet back in (way out of line). I think they could have told me. Nevertheless, I drove to home depot for a wax ring and had it done in 10 minutes. Overall, a 4 oout of 5. If they charged a more reasonable rate for reseating the toilet i would have had them do it, and would have rated a 5."

"We purchased a high end product because we felt that it was good for our health and for the longevity of our appliances. Andrew sold us the system and was very thorough in explaining things to us and still comes to the rescue when we have questions. The gentleman who installed the items was excellent and went above and beyond to help locate the system in the correct place in our home. We have also had contact with the owner and he has helped us on occasion with questions we had on the system. Great company to do business with."

"Brett was professional from start to finish, friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. It was refreshing to speak directly to him on the phone as other companies use non-plumbers to take calls and arrange appointments. He went the extra mile to perform this repair. I will definitely call him again for other plumbing jobs."

Retired Electrician and YMCA of USA facilities repairman. Part of the build team for Progressive campus on SOM Center Rd. I can install or fix HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliances and just about everything else.

"I had to move quickly, was going through a divorce and needed work done at the property to which I was moving. The most urgent item was erecting a fence for my dogs. Jeff met me at the property and we discussed a number of items I wanted done. He spoke about the big projects he's done for large corporations and assured me he could get the work done prior to my deadline. Jeff told me he needed a deposit to get started. Because I didn't want any delays, I gave him a $1,200 deposit without anything in writing. He missed every promised deadline and each time I contacted him, he turned the situation around saying he would get the work done if I stopped bothering him. I continued to contact him because nothing was getting done and he hadn't done anything to move the work forward. He was rude and extremely unprofessional. I kept on him and he finally provided me with a day he'd be out to begin erecting the fence. I couldn't be present the day he was scheduled to be out and when arrived at the property, Jeff was not there, but there were holes throughout my lawn. I called him and was told that a fence could not be erected on my property - no one would be able to install fencing because of tree roots. After he told me he couldn't proceed with the fencing, I requested that my deposit be returned. He first said he would refund the deposit. When a week passed and I received nothing from him, I contacted him again and he told me he did the work and was owed the money. Because he spent time making holes all over my property, he believed he should be paid. By the way, he left the holes throughout my lawn. Holes that created a liability for me. I continued to contact him and on one call, he indicated that he visited his lawyer and would be sending me the invoice for the money due to him, and indicated that I would receive a check for the remaining portion of the deposit. I never received any of my deposit back. Jeff is dishonest and anything but honorable. Beware."

We are a Water Treatment business in Geauga County that has 2 employees and offers a variety of water treatment technologies. We believe in being environmentally friendly and strive to save you money. We are an honest business that is rooted in our community.

"My husband and I have resided in LeRoy Township since 2015. When we purchased our home we were told that we had a low performing well with iron issues. We contacted Chris Petrovic with CIMS Water Solutions in 2019 looking to replace a water softener system from home depot. We were sold a water system for over $4,000 which included a water osmosis system. Prior to installation my husband and I informed Pentair installers that our well was a “low performing well” and had concerns about how the equipment would function after they indicated the systems would run more water when the system would regenerate - they indicated that there would not be any issues. From 2015-2019 prior to installation we had maybe run out of water once. After having this system installed, we have run out of water very frequently. When Pentair technicians were contacted they indicated that it was our “bad water” causing the issues not the system that was installed offering no remedies to fix the issues we have experienced since installing. We had also had the well fracked in the summer of 2020 hoping to resolve water supply issues. Since that time, the water has been very salty and we have not been able to drink the water even with the osmosis system that we paid extra for. Pentair technicians have been unhelpful in resolving issues and have offered no reasonable solutions to a water system that is practically less than a year old. We have paid out of pocket in full over $4,200 and have been resorting to bottled water once again for every household use except for showering which is also an issue as the water is currently destroying my hair. Even boiled water cannot be used as the food tastes excessively salty after draining. I should have been wary about doing business with a company who took over a month just to come back and test the water after the unit was installed. Despite numerous phone calls and reminders they made it clear that they would test the water when it was convenient for them. When you're using water for everything you want assurance that the water is actually being treated properly. I would strongly not recommend this company to any person looking to remedy their well water issues especially in the Chardon area as they clearly do not understand the water issues of residents. All this company clearly cares about is money in their pocket regardless of the satisfaction of their customers. Chris Petrovic, also indicated that he would resolve any issues if we would happen to be unhappy with the product, who at this point has stopped responding to phone calls and text messages from my husband indicating that the system currently is inoperable."

Water Softeners questions, answered by experts

A good hardness level for drinking water can vary based on personal preferences, but an ideal level is 3.5 to 7 GPG. This means your water isn’t soft or hard. However, some people prefer the “fresh” taste from the minerals in hard water, while others like the smoother, “slippery” texture of soft water.

Water softener life spans range from 10 to 25 years, with most lasting around 15 years on average. After the 10-year mark, you may see your softener’s performance diminish as it progresses in age. Proper water softener maintenance can impact how long your water softener lasts. Likewise, a home with very hard water or a high demand will put more demand on your softener, which in turn shortens its life span.

Water softener installation costs vary, but on average, homeowners will pay between $200 and $6,000. Due to their location, complexity, type of unit, and water demands, water softeners have a very wide price range. That being said, the average installation cost for most homes is around $1,500.

There are many possibilities for why your shower’s water pressure is low. It might be a simple-to-fix issue like the water valves being partially turned off, a dirty showerhead or hose, leaks in the plumbing, or an old showerhead. However, low water pressure in the shower could also indicate a larger issue with your home’s plumbing system.

To get utilities set up on a property, you first have to contact the local department of planning to determine whether your property is able to connect to public utilities. From there, you can work with a structural engineer and/or a building contractor to design the layout of utility lines on the property. The pros will need this information as they begin securing building permits before they can start adding lines.

If your property isn’t able to connect to public utilities, you’ll need to consider working with pros to develop a comfortable off-grid home that will meet your needs.
