"sales practices are deceptive. My sales rep came to the house and evaluated my roof. I had no illusions that my roof was in good shape. It needed to be replaced. Victors touts themselves as roof specialists and will give an “honest” evaluation of your roof. I am sure you have seen the commercials. My rep went into the crawl space, on the roof, and presented photos of the roof. The cost was high, and my wife and I said no to the original offer but when they came down in price by $6,000.00, we agreed to the contract. This is where they got us. The price included three sheets of wood but any wood on top of that would be $85.00 per sheet. I asked our rep if he thought all of the wood on our roof would need replacing, and he said no. He said one side of our roof needed replacing but the other side of the roof was good and did not need replacing. But I knew that they would have to replace the wood on part of my roof. I knew this because other companies told us the same thing. Fast forward to the installation. The foreman showed me one board to be replaced and said others would need replacing as well. I told him that I knew some boards would need replacing. When we got to the end of the installation, they informed me that they had replaced all of the wood. Seventy-Three sheets. I was never under the impression that all the wood would need to be replaced. I requested photographs of my roof to justify all of the wood being replaced. They sent photos and only one photo showed one piece of wood with mold. I informed them that I felt scammed. I was told they reviewed the photos and stood by their decision and apologized that the rep did not set the expectation. I brought to their attention that they evaluated that all of my wood needed replacing from photographs but their roof specialist who was in my crawl space, on top of my roof, and told me all the wood did not need replacing could not tell me that all the wood needed replacing. I am now responsible for you guessed it $6,000.00 in wood replacement. Convenient? Suspicious? Yeah. They are shady. I am sure it is also a pure coincidence that after I put down my deposit the balance is almost the exact amount we qualified for in financing plus $700.00. So, beware of Victors. Good product but you will pay for it, and they will deceive you out of every penny you qualify for."

"I asked for quote on culvert repair.Salesman Anthony(if that was his name) said culvert was ok,but if I wanted it replaced it would be $2900. I got another call and was told they could do job in 2 days and fill holes by culvert and patch,then seal drive for 2500. Day of the men they sent said they couldn't do culvert repair. They only came with a tank of sealer and a couple bags of cold patch. Sales guy called and said they would fill some dips and seal for 2200. This guy then was quoting numbers all over the place. I forgot to mention I agreed to pay 1500 cash and put rest on a card. They tried to force cold patch down the little hole by the culvert which was washed out under the asphalt. The pic shows the hole which they patched over and is now sinking. The other pics show where they stopped and strarted sealing and where they didn't sweep the excess asphalt gravel off drive before sealing I like an idiot gave them 1500 cash. They asked me to pay the rest in gift cards."

"Everything went remarkably fast. I needed to get my roof repaired, as there was considerable heat and water damage--which was shown through detailed photographs. All the details were carefully explained to me. I was kept up to date via email and texting. The crew arrived promptly, a short time before the supervisor arrived, and immediately began unpacking their materials and tools. They were already underway when the supervisor arrived. They had to pause for a time because of rain, but got right back to work when it cleared. I was sent pictures of the progress during the day via text. I arrived home after dark, and they were busy doing the final cleanup, so I parked in my neighbor's drive. As I walked over, I saw one of the crew carefully restaking one of my crackle ball lightsticks that had been pushed askew. I found that very endearing--such a small detail, yet he made time for it! All of the crew that I saw while walking into the house greeted me with a smile. The roof looks gorgeous! Several days later another crew came and installed my new gutters--the old ones were being held together with duct tape and prayer! I wouldn't have thought of black gutters, but I was shown a virtual image of how they would look, and it was elegant! I am very, very pleased."
