"Found him on Angie's List. His bid for the chimney was the lowest and he's easy to deal with, pleasant as can be. Came right over and checked out the chimney and gave a quote. Said he'd fit it in in the next two weeks and he came back one week later. Did a beautiful job. Impressive. Matched mortar to color of stonework. Work is crisp and clean. Chimney looks new. Really is a craftsman. And he gave an Angie's List discount."

"I have a basement that was poorly finished a few years back. I contacted Handyman Matters to do several repairs in the basement. The services included: drywall repair, scraping off a popcorn ceiling, resurfacing the ceiling, painting, installation of flooring, installation of baseboards, and carpentry. Paul, the owner, listened to my requests from the very beginning and ensured that my expectations for the space were met. His workers Kevin and Mark were very pleasant and knowledgeable. They were in my home for two weeks and were efficient in getting the work completed in a timely manner. I felt comfortable with them being in my home and did not have any concerns for the safety of myself or my kids. The office staff (Penny) was always friendly and eager to assist me with any questions or concerns. Overall, the basement looks 100% better and I am very satisfied with the work that was done. I would definitely recommend Handyman Matters for any type of home remodeling needs. I will be contacting them again in the future for other projects."
