"We worked with Rich Cassidy of Southern Grove to design and build new patio for our home. I provided him with our ideas and as this is our first home & patio we were very pleased to receive honest feedback and ideas from him on how to make the design even better. Throughout the design and estimate process he was very prompt in his responses to questions and giving us an estimate. His son Brian led the work on building out the patio and we were very impressed by his quality of work. Our patio design included a rectangular paver patio with built-in grill area, stone bench, and cedar plank bench along with a circular area surrounded by a seating wall. He gave his ideas on design and finishing as he went and at every turn we loved his creative ideas - we were really looking for something that would be differentiated and he delivered! He did this work with NO damage to the lawn/sod around the patio - we felt they truly cared for how they did the work, taking the time to make sure it was done right and no corners were cut. In addition to the hardscaping, they did landscaping around the patio and planted a maple tree along the side of our home.
