Small jobs welcome

"Most of what we do is full tear-out and replacement. We remove the old cracked, settling, or spalling concrete, rebuild the base the right way, and pour new. We also handle driveway extensions and widening, aprons and curb cuts, stamped and decorative concrete, and concrete repair.\n\nOur crews have poured more than 38,000 residential concrete projects. Every job gets a dedicated project coordinator, up-front pricing with no surprise change orders, and a final walkthrough before we call it finished. Licensed and insured.\n\nNeed a new driveway? "Terry, Jim, and crew did an unbelievable job with my concrete driveway addition. I’ve used CT in the past as well and they never disappoint. Terry made sure everything was prepped correctly and installed correctly. The team covered my existing driveway and also plastic wrapped my house and generator to ensure nothing splattered on them. I would highly recommend CT concrete to anyone in need of concrete work."

"Anthony Marchi and his crew are hard workers. They dug out the old driveway and carted out the debris in roughly 5 hours and poured the driveway portion the next day. Then after a day of rain, finished pouring the sidewalk and apron even with the helicopter seeds coming off of a nearby maple tree. The finished product looks great. I recommend his company for anyone looking for quality concrete work."

"JC Crete was great. They know exactly what to do and how to get it done right in a time and cost effective manner. I hired them for a big driveway expansion, all concrete and the finished product was beautiful. They got me on the schedule quick & completed the job in two days. I recommend JC Crete & will hire them again."

Asphalt Driveways questions, answered by experts

In the United States, roads are usually categorized as one of three types: public roads, other drivable roads, and non-drivable roads. These categories dictate how a road can be used; a non-drivable road might be classified that way because it is heavily damaged and unsafe for cars.

To maintain their strength, asphalt driveways and parking lots need to be sealcoated once every two to five years. You may also need to reapply paint striping every few years as it fades to ensure drivers can safely navigate the parking lot.

The average cost to repair an asphalt driveway is around $2,459 to $2,500. However, prices can range from $100 for minor DIY crack filling to over $4,000 for more extensive professional work. Costs are often calculated per foot, with minor repairs costing $1 to $3 per linear foot and heavier damage like potholes, sinking, or crumbling costing $2 to $5 per linear foot. Patching smaller potholes can cost around $2 to $3 per square foot. The final price depends on the severity and extent of the damage, driveway design, local contractor rates, and whether sealing is included. For major repairs, it is recommended to hire a professional, and you may get a better deal by bundling repair and sealing services together.

There’s no single best asphalt grade—it all comes down to where and how it’s used. Highways and heavy-traffic roads need something tough, like polymer-modified asphalt (PMA) or Stone Matrix Asphalt (SMA). Local roads and parking lots rely on the Performance Graded (PG) system, chosen based on climate. A PG 64-28 mix, for example, handles a broad temperature range while simpler, more cost-effective mixes are typically enough for residential driveways. The best grade of asphalt depends on traffic, weather, and your budget, which is why a professional’s input is always a smart move before making a decision.

Gravel is one of the few driveway materials that can handle rain the second it’s installed. Unlike asphalt, which needs days to set, or concrete, which requires weeks to cure, gravel is ready as soon as it’s compacted. It’s naturally permeable, allowing water to drain straight through—with no risk of pooling or surface damage. Gravel driveways are one of the most affordable, at $1 to $3 per square foot, and can also last upward of 100 years.
