When I asked for a roof to be built over my back deck, I was envisioning just a rough wooden roof. But they made it look like an extension of my house! It is beautiful - not rough at all. They put a metal wrap over the wooden beams - and soffit and fascia that matched my exterior perfectly. I wasn't expecting this and it blew me away. And they did it all for what they quoted me. And each member of the team has a specialty. Charlie the carpenter has the roof up in no time, Tom the painter did a beautiful job, and John, the owner, is more like an artist than a builder, and of course Maddie (the real boss). "We had two skylights that were leaking in heavy rain conditions in spite of minor repairs. Gary Brand of G.A. Brand Renovations inspected them, recommended replacement with new units, and gave us a free estimate for the replacement. He identified some modern energy efficient skylights and we contracted to have him do the replacement. He removed the old skylights, rebuilt the roof opening, installed the skylights, installed the flashing and shingles, and sealed everything. No more leaks. He then trimmed out the interior opening, stained the trim to match existing trim, and installed remotely-operated, solar-powered shades. It was a top-notch job.
