DiYanni Custom Homes

Diyanni Homes for us has been a wonderful experience from beginning to end. We were uncertain what direction we wanted to take in buying an existing home or building one. After visiting several existing homes, we decided to build. We met with several builders and decided to go with Diyanni homes. The sales associate from the beginning seemed more interested in helping us achieve our goals than trying to get a sale. Throughout the selection process, we had the pleasure to work with several other individuals who also had our interest as the priority rather than trying to push a certain product. Throughout the construction process, almost every time frame projected was met. We did have some minor set backs, which were probably communicated. I was very impressed with how the project manager kept us informed with what was going on and how each aspect of the job would affect the next. If you are debating on choosing a builder and Diyanni Homes is on your list, you should really consider this. Will the builder you are debating go out of their way to help you. I can tell you first hand that Diyanni Homes will! The final build will meet and exceed your expectations. If we were going to build another home, we would choose Diyanni again.

We signed a contract on March 1, 2021 and the target close date was March 2022. The house is still not complete, and I'm hoping to close in August 2022 (18 months). Our PM is responsive, but trim and paint crews have not been showing up for scheduled dates. I'm hoping carpet was installed last week, per the schedule. I have 50% confidence that scheduled activities will be completed. I really don't know if we would use Diyanni Homes again. We haven't completed a thorough quality walk through. We have been waiting for more work to be completed.

Everything was fine until we signed the contract. Communication is horrible, emails and phone calls remain unanswered. The owner, Ray, said it isn’t his responsibility to talk to customers, that is what he hires people for. I kept the text in case anyone needs to see it. I have built with Dominion, MI, and Ryan…they were 100 percent better at a much lower price. Diyanni doesn’t care about honesty or integrity as long as they have your money.

Very badly. It was a nightmare and still is a nightmare. I WILL NEVER USE DIYANNI EVER AGAIN!!! They constantly discredit our complaints about this needing fixed and corrected. We've had their contractors leave urine and feces on our property. Leaky windows, doors (still leaking), damaged countertops, electrical issues with faulty breakers and so many more other things went wrong. Biggest issue was our basement flooding twice. Mostly recently about a week and half ago. I, the homeowner, got fed up with it and decided to look into the problem myself. I found out that the sump pit and the sump pump were installed incorrectly. Ultimately when we moved in, the sump pump was clogged by the gravel left in the pit. Sump pump was only working at 12% capacity. Naturally when you have a sump pump that isn't working at it's full capacity, it can't keep up with additional rain water. That's why our basement flooded twice. Since i've repaired the problem, we've had no issues with water in the basement. About a week after this review, I received a call from Ray Diyanni. We spoke on the phone for about an hour discussing my complaint. I will admit that after the phone call, I felt a little better that someone actually listened. After a couple more phones calls and about a week later, Ray and I came to an agreement. Diyanni Custom Homes made things right and they are still continuing the customer service that I believe a homeowner needs. So at this point I would change my grading of Diyanni from an F to an A. Receiving a phone call from one of the owners and agreeing with the complaint and making it right is A+ in my book.

Home building process went very well. Started with Ray Diyanni and he walked us through our ideas and wishes for our home. Very precise and listened to what we wanted not what he had to sell. Mary Diyanni helped with our color selections. Again listened to what we wanted and offered suggestions when we couldn't agree on something. Always knew when something was scheduled and when it was expected to be completed . We have been in our new home almost a year and really enjoy it. Would definitely recommend Diyanni homes.
