"They are a great contractor! They were always quick to respond to my emails and provided detailed information and clear explanation in every communication. This was very important for us because we reside in West coast managing our rental property in Ohio. (We were surprised to hear back from them on weekend and very late at night in their local time.) The whole process from getting a quote and scheduling to obtaining a permit from the City and execution of the project went very smoothly without any delays, miscommunication, or errors. They gave me a daily report with photos, and we are extremely satisfied with their work. We received cost estimate from multiple contractors at first, and we decided to go with A-1 Quality Carpentry because they responded swiftly and their pricing seemed reasonable. "I needed new gutters and new facia boards installed. I also had additional splash guards and leaf guards installed. Their team was very efficient at installing the gutters and they work as well as I hoped. I have very obviously rotten wood in two areas behind the gutters. I had discussed this with both the person that came out to quote the job in advance, and with the crew lead before they started work, and a 2nd time with the crew lead as they were putting up the gutters later in the day. One of the rotten pieces is in the middle of a 30 foot run of gutters. I called one of the managers after the gutters were installed, and they sent a single person to try to correct this issue. The service tech was able to repair the rotten wood after the multiple trips."

"I recently hired and had the Stay Dry Waterproofing company out of Marysville, OH come on 4/21/2025 and 5/2/2025 and mold remediate and ?supposedly? encapsulate my basement. (I live in a 125 year old house.) This is not the job I was pitched by the salesman and sold. Many, many professional people have told me this is not an acceptable job and it is absolutely NOT what they sold me which was encapsulation. (There is nothing about their work that is encapsulation. Nothing is sealed at all.) They told me they?d take out the trash they made and didn?t. They tracked dirt all upstairs. (Basement is dirt floor). I called the Stay Dry company to complain about the work not being what I paid for and on they sent out my salesperson Greg Gough and a supposed ?manager? named Troy. That?s all I know. I do know after the way I was treated that Stay Dry Waterproofing does not care about their customers or the quality of their work AT ALL. Work is not what contract stated. TERRIBLE COMPANY! "
