"I met with the owner, Mark Yates, to discuss our options. He was very considerate and I never felt pressured to do more than we could afford. As it turned out, we replaced the screens, added a better functioning door with a kitty door for our cat. That was an added feature I didn't think of but was grateful for the suggestion. Patio Room Factory worked within our budget. Mark would check back from time to time to see how we are getting along. We love our porch, and it has become an extension of our living room. Thank you Patio Room Factory."

"He did EXCELLENT. My garden had not been touch in probably ten years. He got it together, cleaned it up nicely and now I am ready to grow veggies. He cleaned up everything around my home, cut down trees and bushes and made it look clean and beautiful. He took my property value up by probably 15-20k by doing what he did. I will use him every time. Thank you!"

Customers say: Quick response

"My experience with this company was excellent. Zeb was high level, professional, prompt and decisive. The job that needed completed was a 25x25 slab for my basketball court. Note, another contractor started the job and there was a ton of work needed to not only finish the project but actually repair virtually the entire thing. Zeb came out and answered all my questions and assured me that he could â  make it all goodâ  . He and his teamâ  s work was amazing. They arrived when he said they would and were ALL business. The court is done, looks great and my fam is happy. The finish is awesome and I was very impressed with the clean up and follow up. 2-3 days later, Zeb asked about the project. That is how you make an impression and gain a life long customer. Very pleased!!"

Patios questions, answered by experts

Yes, it can be worth screening a porch if you live in an area with beautiful weather, since it allows you to enjoy your outdoor space longer in the spring and summer. The additional protected space may even attract more prospective buyers if you intend to sell—especially if you add seasonal features, like a ceiling fan for summer or a heater to winterize your screened porch.

The life span of your solarium will depend on the materials used and how much wear and tear the room experiences from the inside and from the outside due to weather. On average, you can expect your solarium to last anywhere from 10 years to 50 or more. In rare cases, such as with old estates, solariums can last over 100 years.

Prefab kits like a small sunroom for around $20,000 or even a basic gazebo roof for as little as $60 can save you big over professional installation. However, you lose the option for customization, and these structures tend not to last nearly as long. As for bigger projects like a deck or patio, you shouldn’t go with the DIY route unless you’re fully prepped with the tools and know-how to get it done right. Mistakes can be frustrating and costly, so choose a pro if you’re looking to eliminate your risk of error.

The least expensive way to enclose a porch is with screens. These protect the room by preventing insects from entering and, if you live in a warm climate, provide excellent airflow during hot summer months. Screens cost far less than any other alternative, so if you are against getting permits, spending too much, or enclosing your porch in walls or glass, screens are the best choice.

Whether a prefab sunroom is worth it will depend on each homeowner’s unique needs and preferences. Overall, prefab sunrooms are a wallet-friendly, speedy, and reliable option for individuals looking to get some vitamin D in a simply-designed yet sunny space. Not to mention, sunrooms can increase your home’s value and the enjoyment you feel at home.
