I had already purchased an Aquasana OptimH2O whole house water filter and a Phyn Plus Smart Water Assistant + Shutoff (automatically shuts off water main upon detecting a leak). They did the installation of these two devices into the water main. Jim did a superb job of installing not only a functional system, but also one that looks great. They are always my "go to" for plumbers -- have used them many times and regardless of the plumber they send out, have always been pleased with the process and the result. They offer a 10% senior discount on labor (but not parts). Note that they do not have a fixed amount trip charge like some, but they do start the labor clock when they call you as they are leaving their last job so you are paying for their travel time."

Please do not use them or Roto Rooter products claiming they will do the job of unclogging your drains. They plugged the pipe worse than the blue sticks. I ended up with plugged pipes under my mobile home. Both Mr. and Mrs. Plumbing worked well into the late evening to fix my problem so I wouldn't have to go another day unable to use my kitchen sink. I will not hesitate to call them again if needed nor will I ever hesitate to refer them to family and friends. They are very good and stand behind their work."

"This company is wonderful. They provided a complimentary service visit to see if our drain pipe was working properly. We noticed some water collecting near the pipe after a heavy rain. Lamar was kind, prompt & honest. He flushed our drain with our garden hose and it turned out the blockage was excess leaves. He suggested their service that has a camera attached to see how the pipe looked (overall) and to see if there was any more blockage. But considering our garden hose was able to remove the blockage we have opted to wait and he agreed that was a safe bet. We appreciate honesty & integrity."

"We purchased a late 1930?s home in Clintonville in late December, 2011. One of the recommendations of the home inspector that we hired was that we switch out the old Federal Pacific electric panel in the basement.  Matt Wehrle was recommended by a friend-of-a-friend who was very impressed with the work that he had done for her in her Clintonville home. When I had heard that he was a local family man, we were immediately interested because we like to hire local folks who have homes of their own in the area and who also have families to feed.
I called Matt on Tuesday (9/17) and arranged to meet him at my house the next day (Wednesday). I was immediately impressed with his background, professionalism, and particularly his knowledge as he informed that the Federal Pacific electric panels were known notoriously to be fire hazards! (House inspector never mentioned that part!) His estimate was pretty much in line with the other estimates I had been given prior to our meeting so, all things considered,  I hired him on the spot. When I asked him how soon he could start, I was surprised when he said ?how?s Monday morning sound??.say 8:30?9:00??   ?.and so the date was set!
They (Matt and his co-worker, Craig) arrived a head of time and got started promptly, just as soon as they walked in the door. I left a few times to go out and run some errands and when I returned, they were working just as consistently as when I had left them. They were both extremely polite and courteous and I rather enjoyed their company. Being somewhat of a geek myself, I asked numerous questions about what they were doing and how they were doing it?and they were both quite willing to take the time to explain. I was particularly interested in Craig?s profound knowledge of the history of electrical wiring; how it used to be in early years versus how it?s done today. On separate occasions, I took them each through the house to discuss other projects for which I would need the benefit of their expertise.
Both gentlemen were a delight and the job they did was quite spectacular. They upgraded me to a 200 AMP service panel, installed a new metering system outside, and installed a whole-house surge protector?.all in about 5 hours. They cleaned up after themselves when they were finished.
It?s hard to find folks (you trust) who are willing to work hard to produce a GOOD PRODUCT. We can now scratch one more task off of our very long list!
I was very impressed with Matt Wehrle Electric and I will certainly use them again for future projects. I now have Matt?s number on my speed dial. J
