"Great work at a much lower price than the other companies for the same project. Crew was friendly, professional and informative about the project. Nick, Brandon and Tim did a great job in our basement installing the new drain channel, piping and wall barrier over the old somewhat moldy walls. Also repaired an old faulty sump pump drain outside the house that was causing poor drainage. Highly recommend All American."

"It went really well. We called them on a Sunday when the sump pump stopped working after some heavy rains and loads of laundry. They came out the very next morning at 9am on Monday to replace the pump. Jeremy was very helpful in providing tips to avoid overloading the pump going forward and how to monitor the water."

"t called Doug early Saturday morning (my first contact with him, I got his name off Angie's List), he came to the house an hour and a half later.  He replaced the pump, which he had in his truck, as well as the check valve which I complained about when he was working on the pump. Doug's responsiveness and quality of work were unsurpassed in my few experiences with plumbers, and his total price was reasonable, especially on a weekend.  I do recommend him and I will use him again.

"I have a dual fuel system with an furnace and an add-on heat pump.  The heat pump was around 14 years old and developed a freon leak and other problems.  I called our current HVAC provider and got a quote to replace which I thought was way out of line.   I then called Brandon Heating based on Angie's List recommendations.  The estimator was on time and professional.  He re-measured the house to confirm the heat pump capacity and gave a quote significantly below our current HVAC provider.  He also informed me of a FirstEnergy $400 rebate program which our current HVAC provider did not.  Their annual maintenance program cost was also 18% lower  than our current provider.  The installers came out at the agreed upon time the following week and replaced the heat pump in about 6 hours.  They were friendly and professional.  The worksite was clean when they left.  They also reviewed the settings on the thermostat.  The heat pump has run fine since the installation.  Based on our initial experience I would highly recommend Brandon."

"All County is awesome! They came out to replace an old sump pump and battery back up sump pump with a new sump pump and back up system run by water instead of a battery. They did excellent work and was able to get everything in place and running perfectly. Would use again for any type of drain problems for sure. Found out while they were here that they also do water heaters.

Customers say: True professional

"Excellent service. I called late in the afternoon yesterday and they were here this morning. They fixed the sink, installed a new sump pump and pipes and added supports that I had not had before. They discovered an issue with the downstairs bathroom and fixed that also. They were competent, neat, and friendly. Would definitely recommend them."

"My home buyer’s inspector was wrong. The gas line was correctly installed and did require any service. The Wyatt Works plumber issued an expert report with pictures and attachments that no work was required.. They are very honest and did not charge me for the full amount of time it took to investigate and write a report. I highly recommend Wyatt Works"

Sump Pump Installation questions, answered by experts

Grinder pumps alone cost $300 on average. The average cost to install a new grinder pump is between $2,000 and $4,000, including the pump and labor. This price can also change based on the exact type of grinder pump you choose, labor costs in your area, and the power system your home currently has.

Most sump pumps come with power cords that can be plugged into an outlet, but there are options that can be hardwired into a home’s electrical system. Either way, it’s smart to have a backup power supply in case the electricity goes out during a storm. That way, the sump pump can keep running and removing water from the sump pit.

Sump pump repairs are typically handled by plumbers or waterproofing specialists who are experienced in handling basement and foundation-related issues. Plumbers can address issues like clogs, electrical problems, and mechanical failures, and waterproofing professionals may be ideal if the sump pump is part of a larger drainage or waterproofing system.

Some people may also call on a general handyperson for minor sump pump repairs. However, for complex problems, hiring a certified plumber or waterproofing expert ensures the work is done correctly and prevents further issues.

If you have a self-cleaning washing machine but you’re still seeing lint, your water pump filter might be clogged. To clean it, you should unscrew the drain hose, then remove the water pump filter. From there, you can inspect it and clean it with warm water before replacing it. Check to be sure your washing machine is functioning by running a short cycle.

Yes, you can add a battery to your existing sump pump. There are batteries available that can be plugged into your existing system; however, most battery backups come as a complete system and act as a replacement for your existing sump pump.
