They were exceptional. I can't say enough good things about the company. Our pump went out at 5pm and they came at 7pm and stayed until the job was complete at 11pm. Wonderful service. Answered all our dumb questions, didn't try to over sell - gave us just what we needed. I hope this pump lasts as long as the last one but, if not, I would call them again, no question.

Provided 2 of the 3 possible remediations. Where everyone else was too busy, too far or was just suggesting i replace my well. Paid 500 as opposed to 5000 for a new well

It went very well! Really friendly guy, very responsive. He came out and was able to determine the wires had burned out. While he had it out we talked about my pump and ended up changing it out since he was already out.

Terry returned my call promptly and was out to my house within the hour. He evaluated the problem and, due to questions he asked on the phone, brought the correct sump pump and was able to replace it immediately. I would use Valley Well & Pump again in a heartbeat!

Water stopped running over the weekend in our house that we just moved to two years ago. Called the company on the installer/service label left on our pressure tank, who said he would call back with more info. When he didn't return follow up calls (turns out he had a medical emergency and was hospitalized), I searched Angie's List on Monday morning and came across Valley Well. Terry answered the phone and came out personally by noon. The pump was actually working, but the pipe had broken loose and the pump was hanging by the electrical wires. Terry used a few specialized tools and pulled the pump back up, repaired and reconnected the pipe, and cleaned up the electrical connections. Very friendly throughout. Only charged us for an hour's work (plus the service call and replacement parts), even though he had to run back to the shop for one of the tools and probably spent closer to two hours onsite.
As an interesting side note, the service contractor I called originally finally called back mid-morning on Monday and explained that he had been in the hospital and wasn't doing well. He asked if I had found anyone else and when I said I was waiting for a return call from Valley Well, he said, "Oh, good - yes, Terry's a good guy." You know you're doing well when your competition respects you...

He spent quite a bit of time, asked a lot of questions and ran several tests. He explained everything and answered all my questions. He was not going to charge me, as we had him out for a well cleanout estimate. But we determined that it would not be necessary to do the cleanout at at this time and I felt he should be paid for his time.

He quickly diagnosed the problem and made the repair. He evaluated the water conditioning system and advised it was in good working condition.

The pressure tank for my well developed a leak and needed to be replaced. Originally, the well supplied domestic water to my house. I had to switch to city water and sewer in 2005, and kept the well for watering my yard during the summer. I wanted to use this opportunity to match the performance of the well to it's current, more "agricultural" use. Specifically, I wanted to reduce, if not eliminate, pump cycling in order to extend the life of the well pump. I contacted two other firms for this job, but Valley Well showed the most initiative in working with me to meet this technical goal. Whatever question I raised, Valley Well came up with good answers and good options.
Before soliciting bids for this job, I did some research and learned about "cycle stop valves," which seemed to be a good way to eliminate pump cycling. All the companies I spoke with had opinions about CSVs, but only Valley Well pointed out that retrofitting an existing well with a CSV had the potential to cause other system components to fail. With this warning in mind, I decided to go with a larger pressure tank instead. The tank location limited the height of a new tank, and Valley Well had to do a bit of digging to find a large, high quality tank that would fit in the available space and not drain my bank account.
Installation of the new tank went smoothly. The technician arrived on time and took a little over an hour to finish the job, which included adjusting the system's pressure valve. Sean (?) was friendly, professional, and didn't mind me watching and talking with him while he worked.
An unexpected result of this service is that now, when I water my lawn, the well pump does not cycle once it starts and it maintains good water pressure. That was my original goal, but I did not anticipate achieving it by simply replacing the pressure tank.
Based on my experience, I highly recommend Valley Well and Pump Service.

He was punctual, kind and courteous, efficient and listened to what we needed done and did what was necessary. He cleaned up after himself and you couldn't even see that he'd been here when he left. I was happy with the pricing.

Professional and prompt. They came the same day I called and offered alternatives. They returned with the necessary equipment the next day, completed the work on time and completely fixed the problem. Materials and workmanship were excellent. They were very responsive when I asked about other aspects of my water system.

The whole experience was excellent. I woke up this morning with no water. The water pump for my water well was not working. After calling another company and having them not come right away I contacted Valley Well. Cain called and said he would be out as soon as he could. He said he would arrive at 12:30 and that's exactly when he arrived. He had pulled my well information from the Summit County records and gave me a copy when he arrived. As it turned out it was just a burned out pressure switch. Cain did a great job of explaining how my type of pump worked and that although it was older it should be ok. He was very professional and informative. I would recommend this company to anyone for their fast, friendly professional service. As far as cost. I think it was very fair. I don't mind spending money when the service perfomed is excellent.
